The location is perfect and this hotel is a landmark. However the rooms need strong refurbishment to be up to the Hyatt standards. Breakfast was also not up to the standards if a five star hotel. Service is good but certainly not excellent which is again what you would expect.

We've stayed here twice on trips to Paris and probably will always return to the Hotel du Lourve. It is impeccably clean and well appointed. You couldn't ask for a better location - steps from The Lourve, close to a few Metro stations, cafes all around and just a brisk walk to Notre Dame. We absolutely LOVE this property!

The location is a perfect location very easy access to many important locations. Definitely a very classic hotel. When I first checked into my room, there were a lot of flies in the room. The carpet and room also not so well maintained. The restaurant is very great with wonderful breakfast.

We booked this hotel quite a while ago. During this period, the hotel changed hands, and became a Hyatt Hotel. A plus is its location, across the street from the Louvre Museum. We realize that miracles cannot be performed in four months. The hotel, in general, needs updating, particularly the rooms. We had a junior suite, and while spacious, the...

First off this is a Hyatt hotel and Hyatts are consistently the best globally. I have stayed in a number of them and rarely can I complain. This is also Paris and if you are used to great hotels in Asia, SA and NA likely you will be somewhat unimpressed with any Paris hotel. That said this was a good...

The location of this hotel is excellent. However, for the price you pay, the rooms are definitely lacking. They are really, really small - barely enough room for you and your luggage. I'm not exaggerating when I say the bathroom is almost as big as the room. The decor is quaint. that would be nice if I was staying at...

We stayed for 2 nights. Great Location, ready outside the Louvre. The service was average and there was no bell man at the door when we got off the taxi to take our luggage. The rooms are quite old and the carpet definitely need a clean. Renovation is required to be called a 5 star hotel!

We recently stayed at the Hotel du Louvre. Room was great. Staff was wonderful. Just two things. For the most part Concierge staff was wonderful, just a few I would consider rude. I guess you give up something for location. I am just not sure if not wanting to be in your room is one of them. YES location is great. Many attractions and shopping very close by. The room had a smell of humidity/OLD to it. I know the rooms in Europe are small, but this one was a MINI ROOM....
