After two weeks in Normandy, we had a week in Paris in Villa Margaux end of August/beginning September. First of all the staff is very friendly, especially the receptionists were more than helpful and seeing our Family with three kids they recommended not to take the breakfast option (12€ per day and person) but rather to go a few steps...

The hotel is exactly as rated, it's average. We stayed in a room for 3 and it was rather small for the three of us, the bathroom had a glass door which was a bit unusual. It was clean enough but there was a broken fridge in the room that was full of dead ants.

Our Hotel room (no. 62) was very nice, roomy by Paris standards. Very clean and clearly recently renovated. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful - even offering to print out any e-tickets for us. Location was perfect - near metro lines with easy changes to main attractions and great location in Pigalle for restaurants and bars. Handy to Montmartre...

We stayed on the first floor The metro was a little loud in our room. The room was small but very clean. We had a cot that was very uncomfortable but they changed it for a small bed so it was all good. I liked that the front desk was open all night. It was a good price.

The Hotel is small with small rooms, small lift and practically non existent corridors. However, the rooms were neat and clean. The best part was its location and the staff at the reception. The hotel is within 5 mins walk from Pigalle and St. Geroges metro station. Also close to Moulin Rouge. All the staff at the hotel were very courteous,...

I stayed in a single room for two nights. Yes, rooms, elevator, and bathroom are smaller than North American standards, but I still found the amenities clean, modern and comfortable. My room did not have the refrigerator that was mentioned in the room description, but the front desk staff were willing to bring one the next day (I did not...

The rooms are quite small, the elevator will fit no more than 2 people with luggage, and the stairs are also tight. But the place was clean and has a great little courtyard that turned out to be a great place to relax and enjoy a wine . Very close to metro stations and the area is very safe to...

Fine hotel with clean rooms. The location is perfect, since the district Opera is lovely and within walking distance there are plenty nice restaurants, bars, shops etc. Also, the metro and bicycles are closeby!

Very small choice for breakfast! Too small the room! Too small the elevator! Water leeks from the pipe in a room! The shower and toilet are just after the glass door in a room near the bed! I could see the room ☹️ the reception guys are very nice though! No water boiler or microwave in a room!

Stayed here for a short three day visit to Paris. The hotel is close to Pigalle and St. George metro stations. Also bus 67 stops very close to the hotel (Navarin outbound from Pigalle). If you plan to use the bus to return to the hotel do not get off at Navarin but use the terminus at Pigalle. There are...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
