Let's say it: as the austere straight male that I am, I would not probably choose to stay here. Were I in a trip alone to Paris, I would probably go more minimal, but if you're a couple this is a very nice choice for a romantic weekend. An 18th century building, a lot of décor, red tapestries and cushions,... More

I stayed in this hotel years ago, it has been under different owners for many years now. It is decorated in a classic, French way with beautiful wallpaper and antiques. It is on a very quiet street. As other have said the rooms are small but the bathrooms are well supplied with nice, fluffy towels and are well-designed and easy... More

We have stayed in this fabulous little hotel near the Rue du Bac several times and we keep coming back. Rooms are not huge, but that's what to expect in Paris hotels, and they are very comfortable and nicely done. They do a nice continental breakfast and the location is great, perfect for shopping or just enjoying the atmosphere of... More

Friends who frequently stay in Paris recommended this place. It's on a quiet street with lots of good restaurants nearby (in Saint Germain district) and close to Metro stops as well as a 20 minute walk to the Louvre, Tuilleries, Musee Orsay, etc. Rooms are typically small but clean and well-appointed. The concierges are very knowledgeable and made good restaurant... More

Every time we return to this special place we are welcomed as we never left. A small, secluded place on the Rue Saint Simon, the hotel has lovely rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of many of the top sights.

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. The Hotel was quite beautiful, the room we had was spacious with a well appointed bathroom and the street, Rue de Saint Simon, quiet. The hotel is close to the main areas of Paris so that you can walk from the hotel to any of the big attractions such as the... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our honeymoon. We arrived very early in the morning and asked if we could leave our bags. The receptionist was brilliant and allowed us to check straight in to our room. The room was beautiful, parisian boutique in style, and very spacious given the normal size of rooms in the city.... We loved this place. I went here 20 years ago and was excited to return with my husband. He loved it too. Built in 1700's (?) it has cool setting for bar and breakfast. Helpful staff. Air conditioning worked great during hot weather. Quiet spot. Close to Musee D'Orsee, Eiffel Tour, Notre Dame

A nice quiet location off of the St. Germain. The Duc is an old property, so it's necessary to set one's expectations accordingly - i.e., rooms are going to be tiny. The hotel is "good but not wonderful". Suite 18: Modern bath facilities with separate tub and shower. Bed, mattress and bedding were acceptable but nothing special. View of the... More

Dear iMarco46, First of all thank you so much for having chosen our hotel for your Paris visit. We are extremely sorry for the breakfast waitress being late on the two mornings. During August her suburb train line will be renovated and that why she was late. Please excuse us for that. Concerning the decoration we have just finished the... More
