Despite being part of the leading hotels of the world this hotel belongs more to the 3 stars category than to the 5 luxury ones. From the location to the breakfast everything looks cheap and badly mantained. My room was very spatious but with that tipical smell of old and shabby. The bathroom worthless. It is impossible for me to...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments on TripAdvisor regarding your recent stay. We are sorry to learn that the Lancaster is perhaps too understated for your taste. Curiously enough the comment we hear frequently is that our resident guests and local visitors appreciate the subtle elegance. Our gastronomic restaurant “La Table du Lancaster quoted 2 stars in the Michelin...

The Lancaster is a charming hotel. Location is fantastic, steps off the Champs-Élysées. George V and Franklin D Roosevelt metro stations are minutes away. An abundance of fine restaurants are scattered along the Champs-Élysées, with a cluster of them a few blocks down Av George V. The hotel is small, rooms are spacious. It's old world charm with modern baths....

We had the pleasure of staying at the Lancaster through AMEXCO Leading Hotels of The World Program. The staff was very friendly and left nothing to be desired. Room was very nice, just the light scheme was not very easy to grasp! The only serious issue I had with our stay, was the fact that the breakfast was way way...

The Lancaster is a lovely hotel just off the Champs-Élysées. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised, as we had been upgraded one notch to a bigger suite facing the quiet inner courtyard. Rooms were spotless, somewhat quirky in the old-hotel-way, yet absolutely charming. The staff was attentive and friendly in a pleasantly informal way. The bar and breakfast was entirely...

Really lovely traditional small hotel with a great deal of class. Very friendly staff who were helpful and recommended restaurants. Awesome cocktails in the bar and lovely courtyard. I would really recommend this if you want to explore Paris and the main sights. If you are younger and want to stay in a trendy area then there are better parts...

The rooms were beautiful, and very clean. Lovely little balcony (could even see part of the Eiffel Tower). The staff was very helpful, even with my terrible French. Very close to a metro, and Champs-Elysees. But be prepared for tourists, crowds, and a little noise if you stay that close. Only bad thing was you can hear the people above...

We stayed here for 4 nights in March. Very old fashioned, traditional boutique paris feel. You pick up and leave your key with a large brass tassel at the front desk when coming and going.
