I was really worried about this trip. I read countless reviews about rude staff and double booking and, as our flight was arriving at night, I had images of being locked out and stranded in the middle of Paris with only basic French to help me get by. In reality we were welcomed by a friendly receptionist and clean room...

location is at it's best! For first timers this is the best hotel for you. We slept there peacefully & romantically. Of course rooms are small that's but very clean. it's really affordable so I can spend more for shopping rather than paying for expensive hotel that I only need just to sleep and keep my things. Staffs are trust...

So I just got back from Paris after staying for 6 days at Hotel Audran. Ok so obviously I picked this hotel for its location and price. Paris is not cheap and I did not want to pay a lot for a hotel room that I was only going to be in at night. I would definitely stay here again....

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Audran. First the negatives. We booked 2 twin rooms for our party of 4 but one was on the 2nd floor and one on the 5th which was annoying as we were sharing some items to cut down on luggage. When we arrived they tried to give us a double and...

I picked this hotel for the great price and its Montmartre location, which is my favourite area of Paris. The location did not disappoint, with Abbesses and Blanche metro stations just a few minutes walk away. These metro lines were not the most useful because I found myself needing to change lines at least once for most of my destinations,...

The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and tidy and the amenties were fine. The location is great less than a five minute walk from the metro. The only thing is that I wouldn't bother with the breakfast next time there are plenty of street cafes that provide the same for around the same price.

We stayed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this hotel was better than we expected, deserves more than 2 Stars, the room was well decorated, clean and bed linen and towels were changed daily. The breakfast was exactly what we expected, bread, croissant ( from a patisserie not supermarket, I think), butter jam etc.,fruit juice, tea and coffee. The staff were very...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Perhaps phone the hotel for the price before booking through Trip Advisor, Booking.com etc. I stayed an extra night but was charged 66% of the room price compared to my initial 2 night booking. It made me think that online bookings don't actually get you the best price.”
