We spent one night here on a quick stopover in Paris. The dark-haired gentleman at the front desk could not have been nicer or more helpful--I wish I had gotten his name. Our room was lovely and cozy and clean and we slept well on the comfy beds. The bathroom was updated and modern with an incredible waterfall shower. We...

The staff were wonderful in recommending places to dine with all places being excellent. Over all service was excellent. Their advise was very excellent and there were no complaints on our part. If you are looking for a small intimate hotel this is the place for you.

Though this was our first trip to Paris, I can't imagine the existence of a hotel more perfect for our needs than this one. The staff were so courteous, welcoming, and obliging. They never made us feel like helping us was a chore, rather that they were thrilled to be of service. We had one of the top floor rooms,...

Nice and quite hotel. Very central and it si walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. The public transport is very good. Busses, metro and train are easy to find. You can take a train directly from the airport to Luxembourg park, and it is just a few minutes walk to the hotel. The staff are service minded and...

Good clean and quiet rooms, small outdoor courtyard for smokers ( and there is a lot of them in France and rest of Europe!). the best part was the lobby that had coffee, tea, etc. available, self service, all day. It was a perfect place to rest during the day and have a cup of tea on the house! Walking...

We arrived in the afternoon quite tired from a long trip and the welcoming was the friendliest there could be. We got our room and some instructions from a young gentleman at the reception and after a short rest we headed to the city. Room was 502 in the upper floor with two little balconies. It was very clean and...

It is a fantastic boutique hotel, with lovely rooms and some nice touches - free tea, coffee, and cake in the lounge area. If you are arriving from CDG Airport it is handy as you just need to take the train to Luxembourg station and it's a 1 minute walk. The Tibetan restaurant a couple of doors up is very...

Excellent and professional staff that were welcoming, courteous, and extremely helpful. Location was extremely convenient - within 5 min walk to metro station, within 10 minute walk to numerous stores (including grocery/convenience), bakeries, shops, and restaurants, and within 15-20 minute walk to several major tourist attractions. Also a very safe area as well. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
