I went with my mam before my wedding just to have 4 days to stay toghether...The room was very comfortable, and the people so kind, I loved them. The hotel is in a good position near the Madeleine and the Opera, and the Lafayette...really very good... but... in the rue godot de Mauroy there are so many sexy shops (3...

The hotel is completely renewed, and in good condition. The rooms are clean, though are small. The location is one of the best in Paris, within walking distance of Place Madeleine, Fauchon, Opera, Gallery Lafayette, Printemps, Place Vendome and its designer stores and many other. The service is the best I ever had in Paris, the staff were very help...

This is a great, small hotel in a great neighborhood. The room was very clean, comfortable and well updated with modern amenities. If you're a confident and independent traveler, you'll find this hotel and neighborhood a great spot to stay in Paris. My only recommendation would be that the rooms need shower mats to prevent the possibility of any mishaps...

A nice hotel in a central location. Within easy walking to the shopping district and a slightly longer hike to the Louvre, with a number of good restaurants in the vicinity. Rooms are a little better than the standard 3*, but nothing to write home about. Bedrooms are reasonable size, bathroom is large, but there is no in-room kettle (hot...

Superb place to stay in Paris. A small hotel with 5 star comfort. Very friendly staff, and a special thanks to the joyful lady serving breakfast. Beds a little bit too soft for my taste. Will definitely come back.

This charming hotel was a perfect choice and the rate was very reasonable. While our room was small, it overlooked the courtyard which gave us a quiet sleep. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of good lighting in the bathroom. We were happy to be on the first floor...

The location was just great, just short walk away from most sites (Louver, Champs Elysee, the Opera, Madelin itself and and more)and the Madeleine metro station connecting to the more distanced ones. There are few restaurants in the near surrounding, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a good meal. The hotel itself: The rooms were really clean, everything...

First of all, don't worry about any of the negative reviews on this hotel. It was remodeled completely within the last 2 years and I suspect the negatives from older reviews were justified with the older building and prior owners. It certainly deserves high praises now. It is two blocks west of the Madeline metro stop, easy to each if...

I have been to Paris almost every year and most of those times I stayed in an overpriced, crappy, stinky hotels. This hotel though, proved surprisingly different for Paris hotel standard. It may be located in an obscure corner but once you get to know and explore its immediate surroundings, again you'll be surprised to know that this hotel is...

Relais Madeleine is a perfect little 3 star hotel in a great location in Paris. It is very charming, with helpful staff and a good breakfast. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. We booked a superior double room, as I know Paris hotel rooms can be tiny. This was a good move, as it was nice to have...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
