My wife and I stayed here for a night when passing through Paris. For the 45 euro we paid I was pleased; the room was clean with good transport links (a metro station right outside and Gare du Nord 10 min away). Sure the hotel is a bit run down but I would stay again, pas de problème. Not sure...

Let's say that what you pay is what you get (considering that it's an affordable price in a city with high prices for everything, comparing to other capitals) . They could clean up the mold from the bathroom ceiling though. And our room was small, with a terrible view. WIFI available only at the reception.

Been in Paris September 13th for a concert and was looking for a cheap hotel with a bed to crush on before taking off in the morning. If you don't mind stairs, small bathrooms, rooms that are way past their golden age and a block which isn't the one I would let my girlfriend roam at dusk, it's the hotel...

First of all: cons: too many stairs. If you're not in your best shape, don't even try it. I got the 5th floor. Lucky I'm young and healthy. It's not the cleanest place on earth too. And the neighborhood might be kinda dangerous. Many people trying to get lucky on the streets, making fool of you. Be aware. When i...

Located near Gare du Nord and Sacre Couvre, but literally in the hood. Hotel is a low-budget one, cheap, so do not expect anything more that that. It is a bit rusty, no lift there, ok for short stays.

Budget hotel which is more than adequate. Not luxurious but if you want that then pay 10-20 times more for it. 5-10 mins walk from Gare du Nord. Handy for those arriving via Eurostar. A burger bar is at end of street too for those on a budget.

Save your money and put it towrds a hotel with an elevator/lift. Very nice staff, however the pictures of the room on the web site are clearly quite old. Also, no wifi in rooms. In the lobby yes, but not above the ground floor.

The hotel is 2 min walk of a metro station so it's pretty well connected with the rest of Paris. Rooms were fine, staff was friendly, and it was clean. There was no wifi in our room but the one near the reception is pretty good so we used it.

I arrived tired with a large bag and was informed (despite having booked via expedia) that they were full but had 'booked' me a room in another local hotel. The 'local' hotel was in fact two metro stops away. Despite having given credit card details via expedia to pay for my stay, on arriving at the alternative hotel I discovered...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
