Although this has great reviews, I did not feel it was quite worth the 195 euros/night. The accommodations while clean and adequate were very minimal and quite spartan. There were no rugs on the tile floors making it rather "cold" not necessarily temperature but in "coziness". The windows open to the street where there are some late night bars on... More

What a lovely place, just so French, for me it was a surprise visit to Paris with my sisters, and I could not have asked to have stayed anywhere nicer, great location, big room and lovely host, Jean Luc, who could not have been more kind, friendly and helpful. Thanks you! x

We stayed for one night in Paris in this quirky yet charming B&B and really enjoyed it's central location, history and extremely welcoming host. Breakfast was delicious with home made jams and home grown honey. Jean Luc couldn't have been more hospitable & helpful, not only did he recommend the perfect restaurant for a family celebration, Pramil, but he also... More

We stayed at Bonne nuit Paris for three days in june. It is situated on Rue Charlot in the old part of Paris. The owner, Jean-Luc, was the perfect host. He told us everything interesting worth knowing about the area and the history of Paris. Breakfast was really cozy. It was served in the dining room of Jean-Luc and his... More

Jean-Luc was a fabulous host. Bonne Nuit is perfectly situated in Le Marais; it's like a hidden secret behind beautiful wooden doors. The croissant and baguette served at breakfast were the best I've had in my entire life! Super comfortable beds. Real Parisian charm recommended by a Parisian!

I found Bonne Nuit through The Guardian, it was one of the most recommended bed and breakfast in Paris, and it was located in my favourite district. It was perfect! Jean-Luc was the best! The area is very nice and quiet, near the metro, very clean rooms, the shower was the best and the breakfast was simple but good! The... More

Do not vacation here! We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights in July and on the second night our room was broken into and our belongings stolen. Somehow the burglar got past 3 locked doors, supposedly, and stole our laptop, kindle, backpack and misc items. Jean Luc called police and we filed a report but he refuses to pay us... More

Bonne Nuit Paris is exactly why we choose to stay in B&B's. A host who is charming, genuinely interested in your stay in Paris being the best it can be, offering excellent suggestions, helping with bookings etc. The rooms a delightfully old world, as is the whole building, exposed beams, & lots of original features.( This is not for everyone,... We stayed here for three nights in May of 2015. Our host, Jean-Luc, greeted us on arrival and gave us a thorough and interesting orientation, explaining where to find services in the neighborhood, recommending tourist sites, giving us the history of his building, and seemed sincerely interested in making us comfortable. Our room was bright and cheery. The breakfasts were... More

We stayed here for just one night before a conference (a birthday treat for me!) and it was really lovely. We had booked the Jardin du Marais room, but when we got there both upstairs rooms were open, so we actually got to stay in the Enclos des Templiers—a romantic, atmospheric suite with exposed wooden beams and a little canopy... Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
