A magnificent hotel with highly trained and enthusiastic staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - everyone was very attentive and keen to ensure that our stay was as good as it could be. The location and quality of the hotel should also not go without a mention. The hotel is right on the beach and has it’s own private access to it. The hotel and the rooms are clearly very new and specced to an exceptional standard The food was excellent and assisted by the waiter who clearly u understood the menu and the accompanying wines. If you come to Corsica - this is one you should strongly consider
We werent totally sure what to expect with this hotel because it seems new and it usually takes hotels a while to work out the kinks, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We were looking for a beachfront hotel that also included free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, and was within our budget, Le Week End absolutely checked off all the marks here. A small recommendation to future travelers is to wake up early enough to catch a sun lounger, or two to next to each other.
Overall this is a really nice place. The view on the Sanginaire islands is amazing, the beach is really nice, the accommodations (public & private parts) of very high quality. The breakfast buffet is pretty amazing, and we also enjoyed being able to rent electric bikes for the day. If we had one observation to make, it would be that the service, while very good, isn't 100% 4 stars. There are a ton of little details where it falls just a little short - but really nothing serious so unless you are obsessed with perfection, this is not a cause for concern. One piece of advice: if you can, avoid room 3 - the view on the sea is partially obstructed.
Rooms all have a sea view, but over rooftops for the back two rows. Rooms furthest from pool, sea seem to back up near the road, yet no road noise. Restaurant is very convenient and there’s good Corsican food. Closeness of rooms on top of each other makes it very intimate! Very small reception, takes you thru dining area with bags, to rooms.
The hotel is perfect in terms of location, cleanliness and service. It’s close to Ajaccio, by the sea, has a beautiful pool and spa area and incredible rooms. Every room has sea view; a sophisticated system of blinds in the rooftop and another vertical semi-transparent blind that offers you intimacy on the terrace, all controlled by remote. The room is big and has a Nespresso machine, elegant furniture, excellent bed, nice lights and a modern bathroom with shower and bathtub. The only strange thing is the minibar, which is empty, but can be filled upon request (I don’t understand the concept of having an empty minibar, but on the other hand having a list of prices for the beverages that should be there) The view is amazing... And hearing the sounds of the waves every morning... You wish you would never leave. The restaurant has a bizzare decoration but has a large terrace where you can enjoy a good meal or a cocktail from the bar. They have some extras, like bicycles and a Fiat 500 convertible for rent. This hotel is an excellent choice for couples. I would recommend it in Ajaccio. …
