We booked to stay at this hotel as we have stayed before and although it is very basic it is well located on the main street in Reims, has a very close underground carpark and has a certain, faded grandeur about it that gives it some syle and charm. However, despite having a confirmed booking that we had paid for...

Closest to the underground car park, we found this a good point in the pouring rain. The hotel is clean but in need of re-decoration (the following morning we found that the 2nd floor was being decorated). However, it was in our price range (two star) so we accepted the 3rd floor room at the back. The bed was smallish,...

Booked two rooms for one night to have a stop on the way back to Dieppe. Eventually found the hotel ( a better maps showing it's almost opposite the train station would help) but as we were on motor bikes parking at the end of the pedestrian walk way was easy, and the bikes seemed safe. Short walk to hotel...

We had an overnight stop booked but our room at the front was VERY NOISY. The walls are very thin and someone was talking loudly until 2 in the morning. In the restaurant my wife ordered a salad fermiere(chicken). After turning away the salmon which arrived first her salad arrived with chicken and beef! We dont eat beef. The very...

Good location for a short stay if you want a bit of shopping and a bit of night life. Rooms at the front of the hotel are very noisy - and therefore in Summer very hot - you either die from heat (windows shut) or noise (windows open). But decent value, good location, breakfast is fine, rooms reasonably furnished.

We've stayed at the Hotel Bristol on two occasions and we love it. The location is superb right in the heart of Reims ( a great stopover on the journey South). The hotel rooms are a bit basic (it is only 2 star) but it is always spotlessly clean. The staff at the hotel are lovely and it has lots...

Very poor hotel, location is good and its cheap, maybe you get what you pay for but I wouldn't expect ththis low standard anywhere in Western Europe.......... South America maybe! Shower was awful, tiny cubicle with no doors and a makeshift curtain that sticks to you, so small there is hardly room to turn round in there. Horrible carpet and...

We travelled all over the world. Are we picky when it comes down to hotels? Are we the kind of people that complain about a little dust in the bathroom, no we are definitely not. What do we expect from a good hotel. Or better what do you want ... right you want a comfortable bed. Well we tried out...

This is a city centre two star hotel that costs about £55/night, so don’t expect too much. The rooms are clean but need some money spent on them to improve the quality of furnishings – our carpet was thin (and more typical of what you might find in a kitchen), the bed looked like a DIY job (but at least...

My girlfriend and I came to France all the way from Australia mostly for the good food and the wine. After a wonderful journey to Paris, we had to stay a couple of nights in Reims, Champagne's world capital! We browsed around the net and ended up finding the excellent Bristol Hotel. This place really keeps you in the mood...
