Good food, good accommodation, helpful staff, thoroughly enjoyed stay. Would stay again. Good location for visiting Rheims Cathedral and good sports facilities and park nearby, with shops located in area.

It's hard to see your euro stretch very far in france, but at least CIS is the cheapest accom in Reims. The rooms are no frills but are clean and have a nice view into the surrounding park. There isn't much of a hostel vibe here... Basically we hardly saw any other guests for the whole stay. Depends what your... More

I had actually lived here for almost two months in the past. I stay here whenever in Reims. CIS offers you a room (with shower but without toilet) and breakfast at approximately 35 Euros. Its breakfast is consisted of cereal, fruit, drinks (milk and juice) and baguette (but no croissant)! Forget about two or three stars hotel in Place d'Elron... More

I though this hostel was going to be a hard to find student squat, it doesn't look like much on the website. I was most pleasantly suprised when we arrived. First, it was very easy to find, you can take either tram right outside of the train station to stop Comedie. Then it is a 2 min walk to the... More

We thought maybe we were a bit long in the tooth for hostel accommodation. Consequently we were delighted with our clean and serviceable en suite room. All the staff were naturally pleasant and friendly, and the help-yourself breakfast (included in the tariff) in the cafeteria was extremely good value. Most of the other guests seemed predominantly young(er), but we found... More

Warm and inviting hostel where staff have ready smiles and are ever so willing to attend to your queries. Hostel is slightly off the city centre, but should be no more than 15 mins by foot (enjoy the shops and scenery along the way!). For those with heavy luggage, the hostel is well served by trams and buses and has... More

This hostel was fantastic. Friendly staff, convenient location (absolutely walking distance to all the great sights in Reims, and we had small children), nice en-suite rooms, and decent breakfast. If every hostel was like this gem, I would only stay in hostels! No reason to pay more for a hotel in Reims, stay here!

As a family of 5, we find it difficult - if not impossible - to find budget-friendly accomodations when traveling throughout Europe. I found the CIS on the Tourist Information website for Reims and decided to try my first ever stay in a Youth Hostel with my family after discovering they had rooms with 5 beds and a private toilet/shower.... If you want to stay in reims very cheap, this youth hostel is great. Clean and very modern rooms. Well located. Kind staff. And double rooms for just 30 EURO... not bad ! Triple rooms also available cheaper, and single rroms. Rooms with bathroom. I really recommend it if your budget is tight... and you don't have any age limit... More
