We stayed here to take advantage of the champagne houses in Epernay and arrived late afternoon. There is parking for about six or seven cars at the front of the hotel. This would have been a grand French house at one time and the style and setting are very charming with a breakfast room and lounge on the ground floor...

I would agree with many of the other reviews. This hotel is not cheap, but the situation, location and ambience of the hotel are all lovely. Be prepared for no English being spoken which we found unusual in all the hotels we have stayed at in France. Breakfast was lovely - wonderful bread and jams, selection of cold items, and...

We were expecting a boutique hotel - the pictures on the website looked great, it's described as a hotel and it is not cheap. It was though a guesthouse, and not a great one at that. The building itself is beautiful and the location is convenient, albeit in a somewhat unattractive part of town. There is also good parking and...

We visited this hotel as two couples. One took a standard room (provencale) the other paid to upgrade to the loft. Both rooms seemed lovely and both had excellent bathrooms and comfy beds. The super king in the loft room was actually two separate beds which was a shame. Great location for exploring champagne, plenty to do see and taste...

Nice place very close to Avenue de Champagne. The rooms were clean and nice. No air condition but since it was a quiet area we could sleep with the windows open. We could have breakfast in the garden with all we could wish for. Fresh orange juice, warm bread and good cheese. Parking inside the gates. Lots of Scandinavians.

This is a charming hotel where both the interior design as well as the staff/owners are very french! I often stay at hotels with more modern design and less genuine so this was a treat for me! We were 4 friends staying in two double rooms. I stayed in the "Champagne" room which was fairly small but cosy and nice....

I booked through Booking.com, 2 x Superior rooms......one room was acceptable though the bed was apparently tired. Our room was very small, the bed was more akin to a park bench in terms of firmness, the bedding was old and not enough of it. I asked the proprietor if we had the correct room as it was very small, she...

Lovely old mansion and clean and bright RM (we stayed in Provencale) however at €170 for RM only is overpriced, especially when we were staying 3 nights ....no discount for longer stay. There was a lack of warmth about the hotel and the other reviews have pointed out the lack of tea making facilities which could be easily accommodated in the...

It was a return visit and it's still a fabulous place to stay. It's roomy, airy and holds many interesting objects de art. The bedrooms have everything you expect inc. robes, toiletries and water. We took a kettle this time as coffee / tea other than at breakfast is not available. Breakfast is a treat; quality cured and boiled ham,...

Stayed two nights. Great location for Moet and Chandon. Owners were friendly and it was a very homely atmosphere. Room was nice though it was on the 2nd floor - and as is typical in Europe - there was no lift which made carting suitcase and baby belongings upstairs less than ideal. Breakfast was excellent. Possibly a bit more expensive...
