Small, compact , clean, very friendly and does what it says on the tin. Perfectly located on Rue Gambetta a hundred paces from the main shopping street. 7min walk to Cathedral and 5mins from main Square Place Plumereau with all its Restaurants. Didnt take breakfast in hotel, like to get out and about. Getting to the hotel on a Saturday...

My wife, three daughters (aged 14, 10 and 5) and I stayed in Hotel Chateaux de la Loire for 1 night in April 2010. We had flown in from Dublin with Ryanair and felt that a city centre hotel would be a good idea. We had stayed in this hotel in April 2009 for 1 night also and had no...

The hotel is about a 10min walk from the Tours train station, located on a quiet side street. There is a Monoprix right next door where you can get food from the supermarket section or replenish your bathroom essentials. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our room was up some stairs on the 2nd...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our group was DH and I, DD age 22 and DS age 19. The kids had a room with 2 twins (room 17) and ours had a double bed (room 15). The rooms were pretty basic and of a decent size for a European hotel room. The kids' room had an attractive modern bathroom...

Stayed here in mid September 2008 and found the property to be all that I was expecting. The rooms are impeccably clean, the hosts are friendly and the breakfast was cheap and exceptionally good for such a reasonably priced hotel. It is a great stopping off place if you are wanting to visit the Loire chateaux and the near by...

We stayed 3 days, 20-22 September. It's located right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to everything. The rooms (62 Euros for twin beds) are huge by French standards, with good beds, remodeled bathrooms, and lots of outlets. Our room 37 faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet (new triple pane windows too!) Breakfast was...

The hotel is located in the middle of Tours about half way between the train station and the old part of town. The hotel itself is nothing fancy - it covered all the basics, was very clean and the staff were all friendly. At 56 Euros a night it was good value and very convenient

The hotel in in a good position near the centre of Tours and about 5 minutes walk from the old town - which is full of restaurants and bars. The room we had was small but very clean and pleasantly decorated. The decoration was actually quite modern for a small French hotel. The room was on the fourth floor (the...

A small hotel bang in the middle of the delightful town of Tours. Parking requires some navigation skills, but is definitely possible. Rooms are ensuite, well maintained and pleasant. Buffet breakfast is pretty good by French standards - choice of cereals, hard-boiled eggs, cold meat (mainly ham) and cheese, fruits and fruit juices, several sorts of bread and cakes, and...
