Parking out front - good enough. Friendly and helpful staff. Changed rooms (as I often do after looking at the room sizes on the floor plan in the room) to get a larger one on the front. Room cleaning "acceptable" breakfast likewise. As you'd expect for this star rating. Tours itself is down in the dumps right now, and if...

I stayed here for 5 nights - a second visit - in October. This two star hotel punches above its weight. Rooms are generous in size with some lovely and comfortable furniture. Staff are incredibly helpful, even to an Englishman with schoolboy French, bathrooms clean, the breakfast buffet very good (splendid fresh bread, always a good sign). From the outside,...

- Good location - walking distance to the train station, tourist office where most tours depart, the old town and good restaurants (I would recommend eating on Rue Culbert rather than the old town as it is less touristy and better value). However there were other hotels that were slightly closer to the station / tourist office, though not so...

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. If you want somewhere simple and quiet with easy access to the centre of town .. This is perfect. The rooms are as seen in the photos. We had a smaller room overlooking the patio. Other rooms are much bigger. However ours was clean quiet and quaint. The breakfast provides an ample...

Can hardly believe we stayed at the same hotel as other reviewers. The good news: the staff was friendly, the rooms clean. The morning cold buffet breakfast was typical of 2 star hotels. The bad news: this is more a B&B than hotel - no bellman, no bar, no restaurant. No rooms have air conditioning. This is a problem in...

Dear customer In fact, our hotel doesn't have any restaurant or bar, and air conditionning is not installed in the rooms. We don't provide these services so they are not indicated on our website. However, the hotels you mentionned as Mercure, Ibis, near the station may provide these services but the prices are not the same, and Mercure is a...

Stayed here for 5 nights while seeing Loire Valley. Room was very good price and exceptionally large, especially coming after coming from Paris. Style is bit old fashioned but nice and clean. Large bathroom and shower felt great. Staff friendly, not the best with directions, but very helpful. It's a bit away from center of Tours but the walk is...

I expected very little for the 69 euro a night price. I was pleasantly surprised by a newly decorated room, although the cat would have needed a short tail.... The bathroom was well equipped, but the bath was squeezed into a space that forbade standing up to make use of the shower. It was a single room: the thought of...

There is little really to say about this place. It delivers what it promises. It is clean, comfortable, decent sized rooms, a little costly for mid-price but then most of France now seems to be. The staff were friendly, and there is lots of free parking nearby. It is a little from the centre of the old town, but the...

We stayed here for three nights and found it to be a pleasant hotel close to the train and bus stations. Our room, while quite small, was very comfortable and clean and the double glazing ensured there was little noise from the road. Breakfast was average and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and professional.

When I check 5 circles in a TripAdvisor hotel review, I'm not trying to say that it is a 5 star accommodation, merely that for my purposes it was excellent. First it was inexpensive. Second it was clean, Third the staff was warm and helpful. Fourth the breakfast I had was one of the best I et in close to...
