We stayed here for only one night during our Loire Valley Tour. We booked it online based on price. The hotel has several types of rooms, we took a standard double room while the friends we were traveling with took an upgraded version. Our room was very small and simple but comfortable and clean. Their room was huge with a...

What a shame after getting off the TGV I was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel so close to the station, but what a shock despite very friendly staff the hotel looks jaded rooms are dark and gloomy a small lift that only holds two people at a max , being polite I let 2 lots of ladies in front...

Thank you for taking the time to write your comment. Indeed, our hotel is two steps from the station and our team is available to meet the different needs of our customers. All our rooms are decorated in the spirit of the 30s and we assume that choice to offer a different hotel as chain hotels. The elevator also dates...

Was very pleased with my stay at this hotel last year. This stay was a different story entirely. Front office reception and desk follis all as helpful as I remember them. New this time around are filthy, stained carpets in front hall and on the floors. Manager explained that that this added charm. The carpet in my room was also...

This place was a tad difficult to get to due to road construction, but everything else was great. The rooms were nice and clean, as was the bathroom. This bed was one of the more comfortable ones I slept in during my road trip around the country. I also appreciated the free wi-fi for getting work done in my room.

Thank you for taking the time to write your comment. Following the arrival of the tramway, the square nearby the hotel has been works and is now a pedestrian area with a drop-off allowing you to unload your luggage. The rooms have been recently renovated in the spirit of the 30s and our beds were all changed this year. We...

Thank you for taking the time to write your comment. We sincerely apologize that you have suffered the inconvenience. Real scourge overseas for several years, bedbugs also arrived in France and affects even many of the most luxurious hotels. We wish to note that this problem does not completely undermine the hygiene of the Grand Hotel Tours, and we brought...

This hotel is right next to the train station and the shopping area. The staff were friendly and speak different languages. The room was spacious and clean with a good sized bathroom and separate toilet. We didn't eat in the hotel because there was so much choice close by. I would stay here again.

I visit Tours twice a year and always stay here. Yes its in need of repainting here and there and yes the plumbing is showing its age, but it is spacious comfortable and very conveniently placed. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is excellent. The worlds best briocherie is just round the corner too.

Arrived in the evening and were pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the room after reading reviews. We had a balcony room overlooking the square and station which was not noisy at all. The staff were pleasant and helpful - even giving us free water at night time. The walk to the centre of town was easy and only...
