Our comfortable suite was delightful. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb. We tried the tasting menu which comprised course after course of sublime food and wine. One of the best places we have stayed in France. We plan to return soon.

My wife and I have just spent the most wonderful four days at the Hotel Auberge du Bon Laboureur. The welcome was warm and efficient, the room simple but spotless and contained everything that my wife and I could want, including bottled water replenished every day and even a bowl of sweets! The well equipped modern bathroom was all we...

This is a very welcoming hotel with a magnificent restaurant. The staff were all extremely polite and very helpful - staying here is a very special experience. The service was wonderful and the food delightful. It was a real pleasure to stay here in such a lovely part of France. We could only stay for one night and really wish...

A stone's throw from the majestic Château de Chenonceau, our stay at this hotel will forever hold a special place in my heart. The old village feel is quick to envelop you. The hotel grounds cover 3 sections on both sides of 2 roads, with vineyards spanning the properties over the back. The hotel's 18th century buildings have been 'regenerated'...

We've just spent two nights indulging ourselves in a 4 star hotel opposite the fabulous chenonceau chateau. The rooms, service, restaurant and ambience are all very traditional and superb quality. Expensive but worth it!

We stayed two nights here for a visit to Chenonceaux and to Amboise, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's actually further from the front gate of the chateau park to the house than it is from the hotel to the front gate. We were in rooms across the road in the carriage house--really large suites though we had only reserved...

We had two wonderful nights here. The room was very nice and the bathroom large. We ate in the dining room both nights and the food was wonderful. All of the staff was pleasant and very helpful. A great base for chateau touring.

This small lovely hotel was a perfect location to arrive in the late afternoon, have an amazing dinner in the dining room (Michelin rated, expensive, but wonderful extras throughout the meal, superb food) and awake to walk across the street and down the lane to Chateau Chenonceaux! That Chateau was my favorite of the seven or so I visited...every aspect...

The hotel is within 2 minutes driving from chatou de Chenonceaux. The room we got (405) was in a size of an apartment, and is amazing! A huge bathroom with both a shower and a bath, his&hers sinks, bath robes, a seperate toaletes, an extra large bed. The only minus is the size of the TV (smaller than my computer...

Unfortunately our stay was only a one night pit stop between Spain and the UK and we wish it had been for longer. The hotel is a building of some considerable character and all the more interesting for that. We had a Privilege Double Room - and what a privilege it turned out to be. It was, in fact, a...
