We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely little hotel for 3 nights with our 3 young children. From start to finish they were a class act. The staff across the board were friendly, professional and very accommodating. They offered to provide off the menu fare for the kids and even to serve dinner a bit earlier. Breakfast was...

My wife and I returned for a second stay at Bon Laboureur for 7 nights in mid-June, this time with a friend in an adjacent room. My review from June 2012 says it all! The hotel is very comfortable, very clean, with excellent food. The extensive breakfast buffet includes gorgeous flans, different breads, croissants, cold meats & cheeses, yoghurts, boiled...

Stayed here for first time not being able to book in to one across the road in which we had previously stayed. Excellent welcome. Beautiful room. Nice piscene although weather not warm enough to enjoy it fully. Restaurant very good but also very expensive. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A peculier hotel. Most reviews are good but we found it a bit down in the dumps. Trading on its location and sometimes good food. The rooms are tired, old fashioned and dark. TV is french only. Breakfast was awful, almost no fruit, just bread and jam and an egg boiler which didnt boil. Service was sliw in the courtyard...

Delightful and peaceful inn with an exceptionally warm, helpful, and friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean, and very spacious. The buildings and patios are so very pretty. The restaurant serves fantastic food in a relaxed, but elegant, environment. It is a five minute walk to the Chateau Chenonceau and the train station. There are several other shops...

we stayed at this hotel a few years ago and loved it. We returned in may only to fall in love with it again. The staff is so accomodating and the dinning room is excellent. The area is great wine touring and cheese tasting. St.maure, selle sur cher and Valancay are great compliments with local wines.

Overall great place and great restaurant. Comment: no mini bar in the room and slightly expensive ( no breakfast included in the room rate); no water cattle in the room. Difficult to reach second floor: steep staircase, no elevator

We stayed in spring and what a great time of year a place in which to explore the area. Auberge was clean, gorgeous, very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The village starts the experience with winding street and lovely maintained period architecture. Our room had lovely views over the gardens and past to surrounding hills. Our room was roomy,...

Quiet hotel, beautifully appointed, comfortable room up (very!) steep staircase in one of the adjacent buildings. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who helped with bags, gave local information and so on. We had not booked a table in advance for dinner but did so on arrival and it was just fantastic. We had the set menu which...
