We turned up at the Chateau after a long drive from Belgium and was immediately welcomed by the receptionist who was truly very helpful and friendly and spoke better english than myself. The rooms we booked were perfect plenty of room and a lovely double bed which I slept perfectly on. The views over the garden towards the lake were...

We used this Chateau as the half-way point on a trip to the south of France (Narbonne area). It was excellent. Our room was cool and refined, the location was peaceful and serene, continental breakfast was spot-on and the staff were first class; both entertaining and helpful. Bourges itself was an unexpected delight - ramshackle, ancient streets with a multitude...

We were delighted with our choice of hotel for a stopover on our way to the South of France. This converted chateaux has real character. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We have two dogs, and originally chose the hotel because they allow dogs (for an extra € 5 pdpn). There is a huge lake with walks around immediately adjacent...

We wanted a hotel to break out journey from Hertfordshire to our home in Perpignan. Bourges was ideal and the hotel is well located on the edge of a lake. This was also a great place to walk with our dog. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and our room was airy with a good view of...

The hotel is a 19th century chateau converted into a hotel. The staff were all nice and polite. Our room was very clean and well appointed. However, there was no hot water. As I can read from other reviewers, they have experience the same issue with the lack of hot water. This is the major downside of this property and...

Fairly recently refurbished chateau on the outskirts of the lovely medieval town of Bourges. Very good value for money......decent breakfast in the morning also. The chateau is located fronting a large lake which has walkways around providing a pleasant walk after breakfast.

This is a well appointed Chateau which has been converted into a hotel. No restaurant but continental breakfast is included. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a built-in kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and gave us good advice about finding restaurants in the town, , 5 mins drive away. The bed was comfortable and the room was...

Nicely renovated 'chateau'. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are made very modern and are equipped with a small kitchen. Bathroom is big enough. Hotel has no elevator and no bar. If you wish to visit the centre of Bourges, take your car. There is free parking in the centre;
