Gracious hosts who were so kind in helping us plan our chateau tour choices. The breakfast was pure French - great coffee, breads, jams, juice, cheese... The room was comfortable and quiet. We highly recommend this hotel.

The good critics are justified.this is a very fine hotel that offers good value for money.we had the family room that was on the second floor.it was spacious for 4 of us.in a typical two star hotel, the beds are sometimes a disappointment, in this hotel they were not, and when we left a lorry brought new matrasses and beds... By chance we ended up in this cosy hotel. The owners are very nice and helping. They also offered us their own parking slot... But hot in July as there are no air conditioning. The rooms are very cool. Although basic, they are refurbished into a distinct style mixing old and new.

I fail to see why this 2 star hotel receives such good reviews. Yes, the communal areas are attractive, full of character & old world charm. Also the receptionist was friendly & helpful. However, although clean, our bedroom was cheaply furnished & small and the facilities even more so & uninviting to use. Maybe some of the other rooms are... More

We stayed here for 1 night on a bicycle tour. Even though my French is poor we had little trouble. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent. Everything is Beaugency is close by and this was the perfect location for exploring.

We stayed for two nights whilst cycling the Velo Loire. Loved the hotel so much, full of French charm in beautiful historic Beaugency. The proprietor was so welcoming and friendly and full of advice for our stay. Excellent storage for our bikes. Lovely, bright and airy room, immaculately clean and full of character. Very sad to have to leave, and... More

We liked this hotel a lot; were here 2 nights. We were on our own exploring in the Loire and doing some walking. The proprietors were lovely and helpful, putting up with our garbled french. Breakfast was good and hearty. Hotel is well-located in center of town, easy to walk to everything, not fancy, but nice. Good restaurants close by.... More

What a lovely couple! Our stay was quiet and the conversation in the morning with all of the people staying in the breakfast room was a highlight. A simple but charming room with an old style in the heart of a beautiful historic town. A great place to begin a trip to the Loire Valley.

We stayed at this charming hotel as an overnight stop on our way through France. Small cosy room and an adequate breakfast. Several restaurants and bars only a few minutes walk away. Beaugency is a small, quaint, medieval town and well worth an overnight stay. We would stay here again.
