Good location - near the chateau on a nice street. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Nice garden at the back. Tea & coffee available inside in one of the communal areas. Our room was off the breakfast room on the ground floor. Although some people might be put off by the fact that this looked onto the street, it was fun...

L'hotel de Biencort was once a school just outside of the Chateau in a quaint little village in the middle of France. Where better to practice our French, visit a magnificent Chateau (presently in restoration), and have places nearby to visit and experience "La vie en France".

Located in an old building, the B+B is simple, clean, has a modern feel to the interior, is welcoming and in a lovely town. Good breakfast selection. We had a room on the upper floor with low head room so not so good if you're tall! Will go back.

This hotel is a gem! When cycling in the Loire valley, we were booked into this hotel by chance. What a streak of good luck! The location is one thing: in one of the nicest streets in town and only about 100 metres from Château Azay-le-Rideau. The room on the second floor was cosy and had a positive atmosphere. The...

A really lovely hotel that was once a school, situated virtually next door to the chateau and in the middle of an absolutely charming small town. Our bike group leader had booked all our hotels in advance and this one, though completely different to the 2 larger ones we had stayed at on the previous nights, was everything (and more)...

This was our first stay on a week long waking holiday. The hotel is excellently located next to the chateau, and is beautifully restored from an old school. The room we had was very large and looked into the main courtyard. The bathroom was small but very modern (wet room shower) with a separate toilet. Breakfast was all locally produced...

This is a lovely hotel full of character. I think it was once a school house, but all the rooms are very attractive and stylish. Our rooms were at the top of the building and were described as cosy. However we knew this before when we booked, and actually there was plenty of room and the rooms were full of...

It took us a minute to figure out that you actually can drive down the street in front of the hotel, although from the looks we got you might think not! This place was just great. We were located in the back, second floor, and had a little outside patio that we could relax on at the end of the...

- What a bad luck that we had a bedroom (room number 11) which is at the ground floor and right next to the stairs. The bed's bad situated in the room because it is just against the stairs and we could hear every single walk. Finally, we couldn't sleep well. - We could hear the cars passing by the...

Steps from the Chateau and from parking at the center of town. We loved this hotel and we had the smallest room left ( last one booked that day). Just renovated and reopened. Warm and inviting in the heart of town. Lovely breakfast. Great staff. Adored this hotel and will go back.
