The room was quiet and cute. The breakfast was delicious, and the hostess was nice. The only thing that we didn't like was being charged for a cup of coffee. Every room we have stayed in has had coffee and tea available in the room for free. This one didn't have coffee or tea available, so we asked for some...

We stayed for 2 nights at Auberge Marcheroux. A lovely location, good breakfast and Madame was very welcoming (she even did a load of laundry for us). We had the table d'hote one evening....very tasty. We would recommend this place without hesitation.

We were referred by the tourist office in Amboise. The auberge is about 4 km out of town, in the forest. We were on bicycles; so we couldn't go out for dinner. Instead we were served the table d'hote, dinner prepared by the innkeepers. Excellent dinner. Madame showed us the photos of their project to convert the former horse stables...

The auberge is situated in a forest just south of Amboise. We arrived, on bicycle, just after 6:30 pm. We received a warm welcome and a delicious dinner, cooked by the husband of the husband and wife team who run the Auberge. The setting is delightful and -- as last minute arrivals -- they went out of their way to...

We stayed here for two nights while sightseeing in Amboise and Chenonceau. The rooms are converted stables. As a family of four we decided to share a room with the children on bunkbeds. The breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed using the pool – which was pretty cold but didn't put them off! The owners are friendly and happy...

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Clean and comfortable with good shower. Friendly hosts. Lovely pool after hot days cycling in Forest or visiting chateaux. Beautiful situation in the forest and near to Amboise for site seeing. Clos Luce five stars. Don't miss it.

My wife and I stayed here as a base to explore the châteaus in the area. Friendly owners and perfect location. The included breakfast was great. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it while there. Lots of great bike riding in the area. Thank you!

We stayed here last week for two nights. It is not hard to find if you arrive during daylight. Just take the road to Chenonceaux from Amboise. The turn is about a km down the road toward Chenonceaux. It is a bit hidden, and you have to take a sharp left turn. Yes, it would be challenging to find at...

We spent three nights here, found it difficult to find even with our GPS which initially took us to the wrong place. Situated in the middle of the forest its a delightful setting and a nice contrast to staying in busy towns. Its an ideal location for touring by car and relaxing when there. There is a pool available but...
