We had a perfect 9 day stay at Le Clos de L'Aigue. Sandrine and Laurent are incredible hosts and very kind. They are so friendly and made a real effort to make us and our toddler feel welcome. They clearly take a lot of pride in Le Clos de L'Aigue and rightly so. The buildings are beautiful. The rooms and... More

What a delightful and welcoming place - just a few minutes from the centre of town, this picturesque oasis was an ideal home for 5 days in Beaune. The gardens, the pool, the rooms are all excellent. The best however is the welcoming friendly and helpful Sandrine and Laurent - you will not find more a hospitable couple. Nothing is... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights while travelling between Paris and Provence. We loved this property. Sandrine was lovely, helpful, friendly, accommodating, and a perfect host. The accomodation is fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. Everything is spotlessly clean. The gardens and pool are exquisite. We were always in a hurry after exploring to get... More

Three couples stayed here for a week. I could not have been happier with our choice. Sandrine & Laurent were perfect hosts. Our rooms were modern and quite comfortable. The breakfast Sandrine provided each morning was excellent. The grounds were beautifully landscaped by Laurent. Beaune is a perfect French town to visit. Great restaurants and stores. The town is so... More

We stayed here for a night at the start and end of our cycling tour of Burgundy. Sandrine was lovely and really helpful; picking us up when we were delayed arriving in Beaune, storing our luggage etc. Le Clos is perfectly located a short walk from the town centre, but very quiet with a pretty view. Our stylish suite was... More

Le Clos de L'Aigue is definitely a great place to stay if you plan on visiting Beaune. My husband and I came here during the first week of June and stayed for 5 nights. It was so relaxing and easy and we would highly recommend this place! Service: Sandrine was by far a very attentive and friendly host. She was... More

We have stayed in many B and Bs and Le Clos de l'Aigue is up there with the very best. We visited Beaune in April. Our suite was exceptionally clean, very well appointed with a very comfortable bed.We really enjoyed relaxing in the spa a couple of times after a long day of exploring. Sandrine and Lawrence are the perfect welcoming hosts in this immaculate B&B. Nothing is too much trouble, from advice on local restaurants to good places to taste the regions wines. The accommodation is absolutely perfect, extraordinarily clean welcoming and comfortable. Our bathroom was huge and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was also great all the usuals plus homemade cakes great fresh... More

Once you find your way to Le Clos de L'Aigue (& that is no small accomplishment as this oasis is improbably located in a narrow street with no hint of what lies behind the gate!) you will not want to leave. In our three weeks in France (during which we visited about 7 hotels or inns), this was easily number... More
