My room was in the old part of the hotel and that meant no elevator and not really Wifi in the room. I just got a shady answer on my questioning. Fortunately I had read the comments before coming, so I knew about the problem, and had organized a travel router which was delivered at the hotel and was there...

I booked rooms in this hotel on line and cancellation is free if made 2 days before arrival. My booking is in September and I have been trying to cancel my booking but no avail. Booking confirmation was swift in 5 minutes. However, when it comes to cancellation, I wrote emails a few times. No response. I tries on line...

The best thing about this hotel is it's location, just a short walk to the vibrant centre of town. Parking proved a little tricky but following a short delay and a little drive around we eventually found a spot reasonably close to the hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly and informative. I'd normally not hesitate to give this hotel 4...

Surprised by some of the reviews as we stumbled on this place by chance when deciding we would extend our trip in Beaune. Room was nice if not huge, everything worked and though not palatial this is a hotel to base yourself for exploring and very nice it is too for circa €100 given location. Staff very helpful, would stay...

While this hotel has a good location on the edge of town, we were extremely disappointed considering the price we paid (134 euros) for what was to be a 'Comfort' room. While the room itself provided the basics, there had been no effort made to make the room feel nice and comfortable. The room was incredibly 'plain'. There was one...

We stayed in Beaune 30 years ago at Le Cep, now pricey which is out of our price range. Just a block or so away is Athanor, at more than half the price and a great location in old town, stayed 2 nights, one was Saturday and awoke to a market in front of hotel and 2 blocks each way....

Hotel Athanor in Beaune is a small and simple hotel. It’s greatest asset is the location in the center of the city. You can walk with ease to everything worth seeing in the old village and even the very nice park is only 7-8 minutes away on foot. Our three rooms in the hotel were all very clean and functional,...

This full of charm hotel ( really a bed and breakfast which has a key pad entry system for revellers out beyond 11 pm) is centrally located 5 minutes from Beaune centre. Don't stay here if you're used to 5 star accommodation as you will miss the point of this low price hideaway. 2nd floor room gave us a perfect...

Hugely overpriced for a moldy, stuffy hotel. No elevator to upper floors in part of the hotel. Old and run down. Staff needs training in customer service. Breakfast was anemic for the price. Would avoid for sure and stay at the Ibis if you can. Great location.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem in the heart of Beaune. Our room was on the first floor and charming with its beamed ceiling, the most comfortable bed ever and it was so clean! Parking was on the street but free after 7pm until our checkout the next morning (on a Sunday). We were steps away from the...
