We loved our stay at this hotel! We got to stay in a room decorated like some of the historic chateaus we had recently toured through! With its own parking lot and lift, getting in and out was very easy. Our room was elegant and richly decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was very clean and the...

The welcome we received was excellent. The room and bathroom were clean. The garden is lovely. After a long drive from the south of France, it was perfect to have a lovely swim and sunbathe. Towels are left on the sun beds. The staff were so, so helpful. Easy walk into town. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel and impeccable service, well located for a short walk into the town and bars/restaurants. The hotel is full of character and the hosts/staff are all excellent. The room was large, comfortable, air-conditioned and quiet. Pool facilities excellent and the gardens large with chairs and sofas for residents. Breakfast was very good and could be taken in the garden....

We stayed here for a single night. The location was perfectly located for a 5 min walk into for town but in a very quiet suburb. The property whilst a little dated was excellent in its character. The rooms were comfortable, large and air-conditioned. The staff were friendly and attentive. Pool facilities excellent and the garden a little oasis, with...

Nice old building, at the edge of the old town. We arrived late and stayed only one night, so we did not have the time to explore the garden. Our Privilege Double Room had a Marechal name as all the others, but it was peaceful, big and nicely decorated in an old fashioned way. Good quality bed. The bathroom is...

Lovely old huge house near the centre of town. Off road secure parking. Very easy to check in with the charming receptionist who speaks great English. The rooms are all named after Napoleon Marechals ( field marshals / generals) The rooms are clean, airy and comfortable. There is no restaurant but a significant selection of dishes can be delivered to...

Stayed for one night on way back home from the Dordogne. Easy to find with convenient car parking. Easy check in and room was okay - old fashioned and quite small but adequate for our needs. Hotel is only a short walk from the city centre with plenty of eating options. We had to leave early so did not sample...

We stayed here one night after driving from Geneva, so we arrived late in the afternoon. The hotel is pretty and has a nice garden, but it was cold so we didn't sit outside. The room was comfortable. Shower was awful, not wall mounted so you have to stand there holding the hose. Breakfast was €10 each but we chose...

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Auxerre & Guedelon. Traditional French style hotel, & all the rooms are named after French generals instead of having numbers, which is rather quaint. Good quality furniture, carpets, linen etc in room & decent size bathroom with nice toiletries. Didnt like shower though as it is over the bath & has to...

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It has good rooms very pleasant staff and is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. It was a refreshing change to stay in a hotel that wasn't a large chain. Every room was different and it is pleasant to have a drink in the garden in the evening. The staff also...
