Room was clean and beds comfortable. Location intra muros so within easy walk of all places of interest, eating places and the sandy beaches (where we even had a picnic on the beach by the Grand Be in mid-March.) We went as foot passengers on Britanny Ferries, and the Hotel Cartier is only 15 minutes from the ferry terminal, so...

We booked this hotel late after checking out of a hotel we initially booked for the weekend in Saint Malo due to the hotel being not very welcoming and smelly, we found this hotel and it was lovely and felt more homely. We had a lovely room looking over the street and was not noisy at all. This hotel is...

Stayed just one night, in a corner room overlooking the street which happened to have a male voice group performing just outside - lovely! The room is on the small side, very clean and comfortable and with everything you need including a table with a couple of chairs to watch the world go by. I left a pair of shoes....

The interior is modern and very clean. Staff were all excellent and worked to please. Breakfast was simple but good. The room was adequately sized but the toilet in the shower area was a surprise. The biggest problem for us were people partying outside, noise from the restaurant across the street til late and then trucks or street cleaners making...

Stayed 3 nights.we had a lovely corner room overlooking the busy street but room was quiet when windows closed. Hotel is in the busier part of the old city and you can walk to the port or around the walls , all close by. Hotel service good with friendly and helpful staff. Parking is a bit hit and miss. We...

I stayed here for one night in June while chaperoning a high school trip from the US. The hotel is located in the center of the old town. That's the good news. The bad news is you need to park outside of the area and walk your suitcase to the hotel. This wasn't a problem for us. The staff at...

Stayed here for 5 nights and everything about this hotel was great. We requested a room on a high floor as the hotel is in the centre of old St Malo, so we thought it would be noisey. The room we had was large by normal standards with a lovely little balcony. We didn't notice any street noise at all...

The hotel is accessible to people in wheelchairs, there being at least one room for disabled people on the ground floor. It is very close to many restaurants. The hotel serves only breakfast at an cost 10 euros/day but the staff are very kind and will always help you find a restaurant - if you need help. My wife must...

We stayed here or the first time last weekend and was not disappointed. Perfect little boutique hotel within St Malo walls, perfect location and very friendly staff. Room was lovely just what we wanted for our one night stay. This hotel is certainly worth the visit, we will be back at the end of September !

We were offered storage for our bikes within the hotel which was excellent news, as the hotel is situated very centrally within the Intra Muros, and so a great place to explore from. The price is reasonable for the location. The room was slightly small, and to be honest, not as glamorous as the images on their site might suggest....
