We were here for 5 days in late October. The hotel has a really excellent location in the old town (Intra-Muros). Saint Malo is a really beautiful town and we had no problems amusing ourselves; indeed, there is so much to see in the old town, that we hardly ventured outside. The hotel has a main building and an annex...

Being inside the old city, this hotel is in a unique place. For that reason I thought it a good idea to use this to access the whole town without too much driving. Not too difficult to find using the GPS, but wouldn't like to try without it. I did contact in advance to see if they could provide a...

A very good value. We stayed in the main building which has an elevator. They have another building across but it only has stairs. The room was small but charming and clean. The bathroom was a bit tired but clean. The staff which spoke English were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was nothing special but very adequate, The location was...

We got a family room for one night. The hotel is right inside the walls of the city, walking distance to all of downtown restaurants, bars and shopping. It also happens to be a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are clean but modest. Noisy at night, so keeping the windows open is a problem when the weather is...

We had friends over from America and for our first night I thought we should stay inside the Walls at Saint Malo, at this time of year, especially with the Tour de France starting just days earlier rooms can ve quite difficult to come by and are also not the cheapest. However, Morgan the receptionist from the Anne de Bretagne...

Had a booking for 2 rooms- first the put one of us in the building across the road from the other room. We asked for rooms together- the room they gave us had a bad smell of sewerage that was not bearable. We went back to reception and asked for another room. we got both rooms in the building above...

Having booked for our one night stay in St Malo, we were greeted by a polite and helpful receptionist. We were given a double room in the annexe of this hotel. the entrance to this area was very shabby and an unpleasant smell was present from the first floor, up to and into our second floor bedroom. We found the...

WiFi sucks... hotel is quite regular and price is low. But in a very modern Era, even lowest price hotel must have a good wi-fi and fast... that's sad. No indication who are always connected to the world. Breakfast is very basic. Location is quite good.

The hotel is in a historic building. Not new, but clean. Very nice otzavchivy staff. WiFi in the room worked well. The administrator asks guests whether they are satisfied with the cleaning, everything works in the room. The hotel's location is very good: very close to the beach and around the many restaurants. Some reviews have complained about the noise,...
