Our 4 night visit in St Malo with Anne-Marie & Gilbert was perfect in location, kind hospitality, and immaculate, private, up-to--date accommodation. Set in a lovely room, the continental breakfast included squeezed orange juice, home made preserves and the freshest french croissant and more. The entire experience could not be improved! We came as guests and feel we left as... More

Anne Marie and Gilbert were absolutely lovely. They gave suggestions on food, things to see, and we're happy to chat about anything in general. They also gave you the privacy you need or want. They intentionally run only 2 rooms to make sure they can engage with their guests more. Definitely recommend it, you'll be well taken care of.

We have stayed at Albizia for 3 nights on September, using the two rooms available for a family of 4. This is the best B&B you can find. Anne-Marie and her husband Gilbert are charming people and they were doing all they could to help us feel home and recommend where to go and what to do. The rooms are... More

Our accommodation was great, with its own separate entrance. Breakfast was delicious and included home-made local specialties. Anne-Marie, our hostess, is a total wonder. She is a native of Saint-Malo with an enormous knowledge of the city and surrounding area. She shared her knowledge with us in a most charming, generous, useful way. She and Gilbert welcomed us to their... More

This charming bed and breakfast is very clean and modern. The owners are very friendly and take time to explain the best restaurants, shopping, and sites in the area. You really don't need to read a guidebook before you come. Just ask Anne-Marie where to go! It is near a free shuttle stop into old town.

Villa Albizia is a chambre d’hote in Saint Malo, about 15-20 mins walk from the Old Town. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The lady who runs it cannot do enough for you, from providing food specialities from the region for breakfast, advising and booking restaurants for you to advising you on what to see and do. We were... More

I have recently spent 3 nights with my wife and our 3 kids at Albizia. The room was nicely decorated, neat and specifically prepared for our needs (2 girls and a 1 year old baby). The breakfast was fresh, abundant and with the typical elements of Brittany. Last but not least, Anne Marie is an excellent hostess, looking after every... More
