Visited solo in winter. Easy to find as just 5mins walk from intra-muros main gate. Room is small which I prefer, and cozy. Both the man and lady who served me were very friendly, attentive and helpful. I was ashamed that I could not speak more french but they spoke excellent English to me. I caught a bad fever and...

Read the reviews about the place so was hoping for a good result. It was awesome! Great location. Parking is a bit tricky but manageable! It was comfortable and we all agreed it was worth a great value.

The choice was between a more spacious lodging outside the walls or staying within the old city. We - my wife and I and another couple - decided on the advantages of being able to walk everywhere and having the city to ourselves when the tourists had departed in the evening. Le Chalut, the only Michelin one star in the...

Really happy with my stay here. The room was clean, and they kindly put me in a room at the back - so it was totally quiet and peaceful. There are no views to be had as you are within the ancient city - so built up - but of course it is mainly pedestrian. Really comfortable and clean. The...

So central to shopping, restaurants sites etc but peacefully quiet. Extremely helpful Lady at front desk. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable, free wifi in room. Parking for cars is in paid parking at city wall, and is reasonable, the hotel will help you with this.

This is a fantastic hotel, centrally located for everything. The hotel also provide car parking cards (we paid €15 for 3 nights) which allow you to park in all the local car parks hassle free). The rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. Owners are really friendly. The next time we're in St Malo, we'll be booking here again!

This charming boutique hotel was purchased just 1 year ago by a delightful young couple. During the winter months, they are gradually renovating the hotel to a high standard, top to bottom. The location, just a few steps from the main gate, could not be better! Although the village entrance is so nearby, the small street is quiet and peaceful,...

We arrived on Bastille Day, when St Malo was heaving, at 6pm, with bicycles. The owners suggested we put them in the breakfast room, for safety and they would move them out in the morning and lock them with their own bike. That was really important for us and they were great at accommodating us. The room was small, but...

Our rooms were lovely, stayed for 3 nights and 2 rooms, lovely hosts, recommend the hotel. Very clean and toiletries supplied. There was a suitcase stand to put the suitcase on- much better than on the floor. The fridge was a bonus.
