This hotel is rather too far out of the old town for us. It has stunning views right on the clean sandy beach where the tide goes right out then rushes in splashing up to the boulevard. The hotel has a small rooftop area although it was very windy when we were there. Our sea view room was on the...

The hotel was located overlooking the 2 mile beach, approximately 15 minutes walk to the walled city. The rooftop bar offers magnificent views and gives the hotel their USP. Despite the room being small, it was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a nice bathroom with a good shower. The wifi was free and excellent and...

The most salient tip I can note is the the address of the hotel was not recognized by our GPS, so be sure to have a map. Our room was tiny but efficient. There is no AC and it is noisy with windows open. I booked the hotel based on the attractiveness of the rooftop view, with bar and lounging...

A Boutique hotel, with English speaking staff, in the perfect place to appreciate the amazing beach, we had a sea view room, with a juliet balcony, a nice cosy room, a very comfortable bed, and clean shower room, the hotel has a roof terrace too, where we could order cocktails, and other drinks, and admire the views.....lovely. Its a lovely...

Hubby and I stayed two nights during our excursion to France. The hotel has a wonderful setting overlooking the beach at the back but it doesn't have much kerb appeal at the front. Everything about this hotel is small, reception, lift (extremely challenging), rooms, breakfast but it was clean and well positioned. We booked our car for the secure parking...

Tis very small hotel is clean and well appointed. The breakfast offering is average. The room was small but had everything we needed. The bathroom was modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only negative point is that the staff are overworked with the same person working as front desk receptionist, server at breakfast & dinner and sometimes as...

Saint Malo is for ocean lovers and Hotel Ambassadeurs is the perfect place to stay. It is on Chaussee du Sillon on the beach side with a direct beach access. We were lucky to get a 4th floor with ocean view and side view of the old city. On the roof top we watched the sunset on the sea with...

Very nice boutique hotel , excellent location by the sea and walking distance to Saint Malo. Very good breakfast(extra payment) . Try to book sea view rooms . The negatives are small elevator and no lobby . Parking 300 meters far way from the hotel (extra payment) . No air condition

The ancient town of St Malo has a tourist presence but it's definitely not a resort. There are hotels but finding one on the beach is relatively difficult. This is where the Ambassadeurs scores heavily as the sea is barely 5 metres from the doors of the restaurant (a creperie). It is a small boutique hotel with about 15 or...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This charming family-hotel is located on the sea side with a direct access on the beach without crossing the street . It is ideally located between the historic city center of Saint-Malo (Intra-Muros) and the Thermal Baths. Many of these sites and others are reachable by foot in a few minutes following and enjoying the sea side. Pascal, the new owner, will be at heart to welcome you personally in completey renovated rooms. The speciality of the hotel cuisine is the crêpes Bretonnes (French buckweat pancakes) that we hope to make you (re) discover in an Art Deco dinning room with a breathtating view of the sea. On the roof top of the hotel is a panoramic terrace where you can enjoy our different cocktails and according to the schedule, listen to live music. ... more   less
