Just spent a couple of nights at this little hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was more than we could manage. Madame who runs the place is kind and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We also had a view of the harbour which was lovely. With regard to parking the car park opposite is pay... More

Hotel in great location. Free parking across the road from the hotel. Wifi was just ok. Room small but clean and functional. A good place to stay over in Concarneau but you spend long in the room. This hotel offers a good value option for staying in this town. Lovely pub around the corner selling a good selection of wines... More

Was there again for the Festival des filets bleus and stayed 5 nights. Very friendly owner, great location in the centre. Lots of hints and tips and looking forward to go back again next year. Thanks a lot for a fantastic stay.

Yes, this hotel is just a few steps from the historic old town of Concarneau, located on an island in the harbour. It reminded me of traditional urban French hotels in that the reception is actually above shops, on the first floor, and some of the bedrooms overlook the harbour. The owner has little English but more than sufficient for... More

I am a little bit surprised about all the good reviews as our stay (2 nights) wasn't that spectacular. Room at the top, endless stairs, no lift. The Reception is only open a few hours the day. Our room smelled of old socks. It was furnished very dull, very cheap. Comparing the Hotel & the Price with the other ones... More

We found the Hotel du Port to be an OK place but the stairs were a killer. When we found the place, I had to walk up a steep flight of steps to get to the check in. Then, our room was up another steep flight of stairs. Maybe if the room was something special it would have been worth... More

We haven't visited Brittany in about 12years - but back then we loved sitting outside the Bar du Jocky drinking excellent coffee & people watching - so this year when we returned to Brittany it was a no-brainer to book into the Hotel du Port for Kaths Birthday as it is right above our fav cafe & it was Fete... A prime spot right on quayside and very close to the old walled town. Muriel is a great host, her rooms are spotless and the breakfast croissants best I have ever tasted. Free public car park right in front of hotel. A perfect base for touring this part of Brittany. No hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

We spend two days at the Hotel du Port in Concarneau while touring Bretagne or Brittany if you prefer. The hotel was perfect, nice rooms, very clean, centrally located, and for a very good price. We booked the family room and got two rooms connected by a small corridor with two bathrooms and two toilets. It was exactly what we... More

Hotel Du Port is a classic town house hotel standing on the quayside and overlooking the very pretty old town of Concarneau. The hotel was wonderful, classic French. It's easy to miss as it's in between a cafe and a shop. There's no lift, but the marble spiral staircase makes up for the effort in dragging the bags up. We... More
