This was a fantastic family break the treehouse was really well equipped with everything we needed for a short break. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The bathroom was lovely with a really good shower. The beds are very comfy and the treehouse is surprisingly well heated. The hot tub is fabulous and the surrounding area is very...

This place is amazing!! My girlfriend booked a surprise birthday getaway and I was lost for words when shown to our tree house 'the monbazillac tree house'. The quality was second to none, from sipping champagne in the hot tub under the stars to the delivery of breakfast in the morning, which by the way is probably the best way...

The Pubeyton treehouse (one of 3, along with a new(ish) residence sitting (floating) atop a man-made lake) was our 'home' for the first 3 days of my honeymoon. Boy, did we choose well! As others have said, the place is quite remote... but that us arguably it's greatest asset. We travelled by taxi to/from Bergerac - approx. 55€ each way....

We loved it here. Loved the uniqueness of the place. Each treehouse is lovingly created and such beautiful spaces. The pulley system to retrieve breakfast was a big hit with our daughter. In fact, for children, it is a real fairy tale place - you get the stay in a treehouse castle, you have a hot tub, you have little...

It is really in the middle of nowhere, you only reach it after hundreds of curves at low speed but no regrets : you discover an unique small "domaine", incredibily nicely embedded into the beautiful and quiet landscape of the Dordogne. We discovered our small castle "Milandes" in the trees with a Jacuzzi on the terrasse. A fairy tale for...

We were travelling through France and reserved the L'Isle Flottante for an overnight stay....I wish we had booked two nights to really give us a super break, rather than a flying visit. It was very private and the facilities excellent. We had our own deck with a lovely view and a hot tub nicely secluded. The accommodation was first class...

There is nothing not to love about this idyll in the middle of the French countryside. We stayed in Monbazillac treehouse which had a view over a beautiful field and the cabin on the lake in the distance. Our own private hot tub and a breakfast in a hamper each day...my boyfriend bought us here for my birthday and it...

This is NOT your typical treehouse. This is a luxury treehouse. This place is so well done and laid out beautifully and stylishly but keeping the natural wood beauty intact. We stayed in the Milandes treehouse. They have driftwood shower curtains, and handcarved sink basin. A hot tub on the deck. Central living room/kitchen nook then 2 little staircases on either...

Simply the most amazing place I have ever stayed. Perfect from start to finish. The tree houses are made to an incredibly high standard and they fit beautifully into the landscape. It's such an unusual idea but they don't just rely on that to make it interesting, it's all done very very well. I could go on about it for...

My husband and I went out on a limb (no pun intended) and tried the Chateaux for two nights during our recent visit to France. We were just delighted by the lovely little cabins situated in this gorgeous region. Each cabin is unique, and every one is well thought out and sweetly appointed with most of the comforts of a...
