We agreed with the good reports given by guests at the Hotel de Bordeaux. The Tripadvisor certicate of excellence 2012 was displayed on he reception desk. Although our room faced Place Gambetta, we were not disturbed by the Sunday morning Flea Market or the big markets on Wednesday and Saturday mornings setting up outside our window. The garden area had...

We stayed here as our friends were getting married nearby. It is a good central Bergerac location. We asked for a cot which they provided, and they gave us a baby changing mat too. Our room was small, basic but clean. However the decor was dubious - rustic tissue holder anyone?! And it would have been nice to have a...

Hotel de Bordeaux is situated right in the centre of bergerac. It's convenient for the old town and the more modern shopping area. Only takes about 20 mins from airport and cabs are really easy to find. Car park is for patrons only and secure at cost of 6 euros per day. Breakfast is delicious and will set you up...

Stayed here with friends and enjoyed my stay very much. My twin room (69€) was a decent size with TV and a good-sized bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-cared for. One of my friends thought the beds were a bit too firm, although I prefer it that way. The reception area was spacious and the staff charming and helpful....

We were late in trying to find a place to stay in and found this hotel. It was clean and cheap and the receptionists was very friendly and spoke English which is great when we only know bits and bobs of french. We did try at first and she stopped us which was most prob nails scratched down a blackboard...

Standard, basic, just what you need for a stop over. Breakfast a good selection. Not the kind of place one would want to spend a few nights at.

The Hotel Bordeaux represented remarkably good value for money at only Euro 50 for a double room for the night. The room was newly decorated, clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The decor downstairs is not terribly attractive, with some rather quirky french styling which lacks in charm, but is clean and offers good facilities. The receptionist could not...
