Large, quiet room. Friendly welcome. Good value. I'm not sure that it is really what one has in mind as a four star hotel: service is not twenty four hour and one needs to order breakfast the previous day: none of which was a problem for us. Nice Nuxe shampoo etc.. A Nespresso machine or similar rather than an allocation...

Small hotel located in the St Seurin residential area, only 20m away from the roman palais Gallien. It is just a 10-15 min beautiful walk to the old town of Bordeaux. Cosy rooms, comfortable beds, with bathtub, tea and coffee facilities, etc. The breakfast was good, but not included in our fee. The hotels garden Is beautiful. Recommended

The hotel nearly gets it right, but just not quite how they should. The late check in time of 1600 hours was delayed by 40 minutes, the hotel has been stylish and has some interesting decor, but so needs a refresh, chipped paint, badly worn stair carpets, broken blinds (right at the height that allowed the sun to shine straight...

We stayed for three nights in room 7, a large room with dressing room and large walk in double shower area as part of the main room but with a separate WC. At first we were impressed with the room but it was let down by two important factors. Firstly it was not possible to get the shower to provide...

We had a beautiful large room with a private terrace in this really beautiful hotel in Bordeaux! It is not exactly in the center but it is within easy walking distance to it. The bed was great, the shower and the toiletries too! Usually hotels in France really suck at the little comforts (almost never do I see body lotion...

We were in the room with the curved window that you see in the pictures. Looked down in the garden which is walled in, so very private. Great staff, very helpful at directing us around Bordeaux and getting us reservations. Shower, lots of hot water and pressure. Fairly quiet, despite being in the middle of Euro2016, but we did hear...

Nice hotel with friendly staff! Recommend it. We had an amazing breakfast on the room and everything is close walking distance. You have a lot of stores and tax free shops within 100 meters. Really cheep hotel totally worth every penny. Thumbs up!

If you have a choice to stay elsewhere do so. This hotel is part of the chateaux and hotels collection and is nothing like any of the other properties. While I understand that it is an old world property nothing has been done to improve the guest rooms. Our first room did not have air conditioning as advertised. They put...

We stayed for two nights before beginning wedding preparation and were very disappointed. The courtyard and inside waiting areas were very nice but the rooms were tiny, had colored, cheap woodern tables and beds and they bathroom was cramped. Staff were very helpful but it started out big week poorly and if we could have checked out we would have....
