Second to none location for strasbourg. Totally central, everything within easy walking distance. Rooms were immaculate by French standards and staff were friendly and helpful with perfect English. Only gripe/complaint - some rooms are in the attic of the building (which the elevator doesn't go to), the apex of the roof lies at what I can only describe as a...

Fabulous view from the top floor rooms. My room was fairly roomy for 1 person, however, the noise does get annoying from other rooms and the hallway.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Strasbourg. The location was superior. The room we had was small with tiny bathroom on the 4th floor but we only paid 65E per night and 8.5 E for breakfast. They did have bigger rooms but the prices were more. It was the best breakfast for our stay in France. It is...

We booked through a website and got a great deal on the room rates: a room that would have cost 99 eur was only about 60 eur a night for us! This made the hotel feel very good value. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, and the city is very compact and good for walking...

We stayed here for two nights in July. The location was second to none. But we were allocated rooms on the 5th floor, which were tiny, and being in the attic had restricted headroom..... a problem if you are tall. The rooms were not cleaned at all whilst we were there and we had to ask the reception staff for...

We stayed at Hotel Gutenberg for 2 nights in July and had a wonderful experience. The front desk spoke great English and was able to help us with any questions we asked. Our room was small, but extremely comfortable and clean. (we got the classic room) It was a great value, especially for the location! The hotel is right in...

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gutenberg. The location cannot be beat. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance-from the old to the new. Parking is a bit of a challenge. We arrived, unknowingly, on a holiday. Luckily we managed to get a parking spot at the underground Gutenberg parking garage and walked the 2 minutes to...

The hotel is in a perfect location! It's a 3 minute walk to the cathedral. There are lots of restaurants in Place de la Cathedrale. It's convenient to the train station via the Tram and a very short walk from the Tram stop. Our room was huge, as was the bathroom. Our room was immaculate. The staff is very friendly....

Stayed in March 2009 on 4th floor in great room with view of Cathedral. Very spacious room, plush furnishings, big bathroom with large bath. My colleague however had a room at street level with windows facing the pavement, opposite a nightclub. Ask for a high floor.

As others stated, this hotel was an excellent value. The rooms were clean, spacious for a European hotel, and the location was amazing - steps away from the public parking garage (which is not in the line of sight thankfully), the old carousel, and a short walk to the cathedral and the restaurant area. We, unfortunately, were given a room...
