The hotel is 3* and that is probably the correct star rating, My room was small, 2 single beds, but very comfortable and lovely pillows. The bathroom had recently been refurbished, some of my friends' bathrooms were a little dated. Good shower and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. None of the normal toiletries, so take your own A...

We were travelling as a family together with you son who was 9 months at the time of our stay. Because of that we had quite a lot of luggage that the reception kindly stored until our rooms were ready. We had booked a standard double room and I asked for one with a bath tub if possible. When we...

We only booked the room the morning we arrived. We were surprised to get a corner which is big in French standard. It has a good view of the Gare de Strasbourg. It is not a huge fancy hotel but clean and sufficient for a quick stay. Breakfast was average but services were friendly and efficient.

It is a quite new and comfortable hotel in a very good location close to the Main Rail Station of Strasbourg, although, we arrived with our car and we found a very convenient garage (Parking Indigo Gare Wodli) just some 200 m away from the hotel (with a special price reduction for Le Grand Hotel guests). The main touristic attractions...

booked this hotel because of the convenience to the station which we had read about through these reviews. very handy to wheel suitcases across the area from station to hotel. Booked a larger room, very spacious and comfortable - also quiet. it is an older hotel but for the price it was most acceptable. staff very helpful

We stayed here a couple of nights and it was situated 2 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes walk from the sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room although basic and small it was very clean. The surrounding area is a bit dodgy with very unsavory people sitting and sleeping on the footpath. There...

Located a walking distant of 100 yards from the Gare, this hotel provides excellent service with a large quiet room. The rooms are very clean, spacious and have updated bathrooms. The location allows for short walks to city center and if arriving in winter months that means closeness to the "Winter Christmas Market". Breakfast are plentiful and free. The city...

We stayed here for one night - a Saturday. The hotel is 200 metres from Strasbourg main railway station. We had rooms on the third floor. One room overlooked a courtyard - the other a road. We heard very little noise all night. The rooms - especially the en-suite could do with modernising. They are a little "worn". The bed...

I booked the GH on location and price. It is just across from the station, and 12 minutes walk from the cathedral. Booked a room on ahigh floor, side street and achieved quite a quiet setup The lobby is quite arty and the lifts are modern. To be honest the rooms are a bit shabby, but clean - especially the...

The Grand Hotel in Strasbourg if directly across the square from the train station, an easy walk even with a suitcase or two. It's also a stone's throw to a pedestrian street that leads directly into the tourist area of the town. Restaurants and shops and small groceries are plentiful in the area. Our room was clean, spacious enough and...
