For quiet, quality for a good price, friendly staff and easy access in all directions to the city for a traveler who walks and uses the excellent public transportation system, Hotel des Princes is always my choice.

This is just ordinary hotel in typical, wealthy Strasbourg quartier of embassies. Quite a long walking trip to the center and a reasonable walk for the European institutions. Rooms were tidy, service nice and free coffee automat in the lobby. Best options mini supermarche very near and a very good patisserie-boulangerie on the same street. Their almond croissant is very...

The main problem with this hotel is there is no noise insulation between rooms. We were on the first floor and could hear every detail of someone going to the toilet or taking a shower. Noises were amplified into our little room if anything. It's generally a quiet neighbourhood and you get a decent nights sleep but as soon as...

This is walking distance to the city center/Christmas market, though it's a long walk. It's about 20 to 25 minutes but I liked the location. It was close enough to the center to walk but removed enough to sleep peacefully. My friend and I visited last weekend, and it was awesome. The rooms are clean and pretty. The bathroom is...

The hotel is a little bit "in the middle of nowhere", in a calm residential street not far from Clinique de l'Orangerie (bus 6). You can reach the centre on foot, but it would be a 20 min walk, similar for the EP and the CoE. Positives: big, spacious, nicely decorated room; big shower, functioning normal hairdryer, coffee machine at...

Stylish hotel in very quiet location a pleasant mile's walk from historic city centre. Good breakfast, polite and helpful staff. Useful to have a Carrefour supermarket with good wine selection a few doors away. Room would have been fine but for over-heating which didn't respond to turning the thermostat down, and ridiculous absence of a shower curtain - talk about...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel des Princes with our 1-yr old son. The staff spoke fluent English and the hotel room was clean with a beautiful window view of the church towers. The neighborhood is residential and tucked away slightly from the bustle of tourism with nice restaurants nearby. Most of the restaurants don't open for dinner until...
