we booked this hotel thinking it was good value, when we arrived we were so disappointed it was smelly we noticed that when we stepped in the door, the room was small even though it was a double, the window overlooked a washing line and untidy yard, then there was the bathroom we just felt like going home when we...

Value for money wise this hotel isn't bad. However, you shouldn't mind empty bars, ambulance sound, holes in your blankets, lots of dust and rats in the parking lot.

The hotel was very run down. But the staff were really nice. There was mould on the walls, and the decore was still in the 80's. They had blankets not duvets. The breakfast was great but they didn't have bacon on their cooked breakfast. Our t.v was black&white and it didn't even work.

Just before my friend and I stayed at this hotel I looked at the review and they were all true! Firstly, upon entry, the hotel smelt strongly of curry. The bar was not stocked ( as previously warned). Upon entering the bedroom, the bathroom door did not close properly, did not have a lock on and stunk of urine (I...

Five of us went down to Manchester for the football. We weren't looking for anything fancy, just cheap and clean and the Imperial seemed to fit the bill. At the price we were paying, we didn't expect the Ritz, but some things really were in-excusable. Each of us found articles of clothing left behind by previous guests (presumeably!) - I...

What a place! I didn't think establishments like this were still in existence! Our party of six found various problems in the three rooms we paid for. The door of one of the 'en suites' not closing (this particular 'en suite' : a bath, no shower but a bizarre pipe leading from the toilet cistern into the bath - figure...

This was ghastly. Broken bed, window catches broken off, no door to en-suite. Biscuit crumbs on surfaces, thick dust on top of TV. Generally grotty and grimy feel about the place. After we survived the night, the breakfast was surprisingly okay! Really don't recommend this - it's better to bring a sleeping bag and doss in the street!

Everything about this hotel is run down. It needs a complete overhaul. The room was dismal, none too clean. Fixtures worn or broken. Sheets smelt clean but had stains and there was a toenail in one of the beds... The tv managed one channel, the bathroom was not as clean as I'd have liked, the light was faulty....the list goes...
