Decided to stay here for one night as we were visiting in Manchester the next day. Checked in OK and went to our room 117 trying to ignore the smells in the hallway, disgusting dirty carpets and smashed glass in the fire door.. The room was so cold we checked to see if the windows were open - discovered mould...

My son and partner have just left this place as I type! They have not even completed 1 night of the 3 night stay they booked! It's is filthy, the walls are thin to the point that you can hear the guy snoring next door on the video my son has sent me. They are currently looking for somewhere else...

Booked 3 rooms for 3 nights due to location to family event. All things considered, the hotel and amenities were good value for money. Only minus were door locks for the rooms, was fiddling with keys to get access. Also the radiators could do with looking at. They were on all night making sleeping uncomfortable. Would recommend

We always hold family parties in one of the function rooms at Fairways Lodge. The buffet is always very good, and our guests love to stay overnight in the adjoining hotel. The gym is very well equipped and the staff are friendly and welcoming throughout

We booked to stay in this hotel because of the leisure facilities but only the Sauna was working so we could not get the full benefit of leisure part of our break. The staff were hard to talk to, on checking in we were told we had breakfast so when we went into breakfast we were asked our room number...

Upon arrival at the hotel the outside is nice, could do with some updating but it's not awful. The carpark is big and has plenty of space to park considering the amount of rooms the place has. We were greeted at reception by a rude receptionist who had a mouth full of food and continued eating throughout check in. She...

This hotel very much reminds me of when you watch a childhood hero or middle aged football player taking part in an exhibition match. You can see plenty of positives that you enjoy but you wish you had seen him playing at his prime. This hotel falls very much into that category. At check in, I was greeted by a...

On arriving receptionist busy eating and continued to eat throughout check in. Rooms okay but could do with some TLC. Net curtains filthy dirty. Dining was a treat. Good food and service. Wifi hit and miss. Overall a reasonable experience
