This hotel is well placed and is only a five minute walk from Deansgate station. For us it was perfect only a stones throw from the Opera House. We arrived early and we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff on the reception who took our bags into safe storage until we could check in. The check in process was...

This hotel was good for one night stay. Not spotless but acceptable. Was a bit warm and no air con available inside the room to change to preference. Staff were friendly enough. Got a reasonable price for the room we had so would stay again.

Our room was large with all you needed including a decent hair dryer, iron, shower gel, shampoo etc in a dispenser. Staff really helpful, happy and friendly. The hotel is not the Ritz but clean, smart and tidy and in perfect location for the south of the city. Breakfast was good, decent enough selection although bread a little hard but...

Hotel was lovely, close to the centre. Staff were very accommodating. They only set our key to get into the room for one night despite our two night stay but it wasn't a problem getting it sorted. free use of the pool, sauna and steam room makes this place even better. Bar is a little pricey but it is a...

Hotel in good position, staff friendly, decent breakfast. Booked a disabled room as part of our booking but were told it wasn't available and that it wasn't requested, it was. They only have one disabled room at the hotel and it was taken. This could be the booking agency or the hotels fault but regardless it's lack of communication and...

Spent three nights with my wife who uses a wheelchair, first the staff were very helpful the room was very spacious witch was ideal for our needs unfortunately the shower had a step up to it and there was no shower chair although the staff did source a chair from the health club so not great. But that said it...

Dear alanrosswallyford Thank you for your review and it was lovely meeting you last week. I am glad you enjoyed your stay here at the Castlefield Hotel and made the most of our hearty buffet breakfast. While we do have walk in showers on the first floor, as you say, it does have a step up to it. We do...

Dear nickfranklin100 Thank you for your recent review our leisure centre, the Y Club, the largest and friendliest in Manchester. It is great to hear you find all the staff helpful and friendly. As you say, the men's changing room has just be modernised. This follows on from an expansion of the gym floor late 2015 to incorporate more cardio...

Have been before for Sunday lunch but this one was the biggest yet ! Beef or lamb both were freshly cut from a joint and there was so much we couldn't finish it even though delicious. Roast veg and four potatoes and huge Yorkshire pudding. New staff were efficient but not as friendly as previous staff. Very quiet apart from...

The Castlefield is located at the bottom of Deansgate in central Manchester. It is very well placed for shopping and the Science Museum, Castlefield Bowl etc. We paid a very reasonable price for a Friday night given the location and the quality of the rooms. Our room was very spacious and looked as if it had just been refurbished, every...
