The hotel was lovely. Got there and took our car and offered to take our bags. We were overwhelmed! Got in lady at the check in said she had just seen our room. 'It's really nice and big' She wasn't wrong! It was amazing! Windows looking over the river. The breakfast was more than we could as for. I had...

Great hotel with comfortable, quirky rooms, the lift was a little noisy now and again but nothing too bad,bed was great but pillows were awful !!! Wouldn't hesitate stopping here again due to it's great location and friendly staff BUT would think twice about drinking in the bar after paying £15 for two 'small' glasses of wine !!!! Apart from that we...

Excellent facilities in the very large family room. Staff were friendly and attentive during our short stay, the hotel was an ideal base for shopping in Manchester. The only minor blip was our cups and coffee/tea stocks had not been replenished from the previous guests use. This was quickly and efficiently rectified once drawn to receptions attention.

Dear Derek H, Thank you for choosing The V&A Marriott for your stay in the city. I was sorry to read about the breakfast issue you have experienced. Those are not our usual standards as we do have a station that keeps plates warm, once again apologies if that was not the case when you stayed with us. I do...

Stayed for one night. Good location. Really nice room and amazingly comfy bed. Walls a bit thin so could hear next door room TV literally all night. Also room shuddered every time one of the lifts was activated. Queue for breakfast massive and surprisingly small breakfast area. A couple of guests eating breakfast in sleepwear!?! Breakfast itself was nice and...

We stayed at the Marriott for one night before a concert at the MEN. General location is quite good, close to Deansgate and Spinningfields. There are a lot of roadworks in the surrounding area. NCP car park next to the hotel now closed, parking at the hotel is limited and costs £18 per night, we decided to park further away...

I've always thought that this Marriott would do better under the Renaissance brand as it is very much a converted property. It's on a canalised location, close to the Granda TV studios and in the centre of the legal quarter close to the courts buildings and law offices/chambers. The rooms are unusually configured with the internal columns of the old...

We stayed here mid week whilst at Manchester for business. The check in was woefully slow - it took 25 mins. This is not acceptable for a hotel of Marriots standard. Once we were finally checked it we discovered the key card didn't work! The lift was very dirty and it looked like someone had spilt something all up the...

Set in the vibrant Manchester city centre on the banks of the River Irwell, the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel in England exudes a historical charm. Our cozy 4-star Manchester hotel's location across from Granada Television Studios is ideal, as guests enjoy a short and pleasant stroll to the Opera House, Spinningfields area, and Palace Theatre. Since our Manchester city center hotel's origin was a warehouse built in 1844, you will find many authentic details in our guest rooms including exposed brick and oak beams.
