Proper old Victorian building with some modern touches, nice size room, clean and tidy, good breakfast. ideal location for a visit to and night out in Manchester with pubs, clubs, restaurants and all the usual city center shops nearby.

On initial entry I thought it was a fantastic hotel, yes rooms were very dated - albeit very clean (which is definitely more important) We booked an internal room as we were needing as cheap as poss......but meant the room was very stuffy & hot!!! Due to only 1 power point in the room neither of us could charge mobiles...

I stayed here when attending a training course nearby. Staff were friendly but the hotel itself is dated in parts. The reception and dining area is OK but when you get to the rooms they do leave room for improvement. Cracked and tinted light switches, no main light in the room only desk/table lamps, no AC, the joins in the...

Our stay here was great. The hotel is a little dated. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is situated right in the middle of Manchester Piccadilly. Perfect location for a weekend stay. Breakfast at the hotel was more than adequate to see you through the day.

There is no doubt that this hotel is in a good location and that the price is great. However, you do get what you pay for. There was no window in our room and terrible lighting, meaning it was very dingy and dark in the room. It was extremely hot and there was a small but ineffective fan so there...
