I was looking for hotels close to the arena to see Iron maiden as I wanted to avoid the trying to find a taxi routine. We originally found premier inn. However the bed for my older son would have ended being the sofa bed which isn't exactly comfy for an older boy. So I stumbled across this one. 2 double...

Having stayed at most mid range hotels within Manchester for work somehow Renaissance escaped me until now. I had a great, clean room which I was very happy with, but the other touches left me underwhelmed- in particular the £10 charge for WIFI which I haven't experienced in any other hotel recently and found very disappointing as a business traveller....

We stay in most the top range hotels in Manchester and this one doesn't disappoint, the staff were great and friendly, bar staff were excellent! Room was lovely and spacious we normally upgrade but as the hotel was fully booked we couldn't on this occasion but the room was perfect. The breakfast was nice and fresh, just one moan is...

I stayed here for 2 nights - the room was excellent with 2 double beds and a sitting area. Huge panoramic windows. I found the adjoining door to the next room had been left open but this was very quickly rectified and the staff member stayed to make sure I was successfully on the internet. Breakfast was excellent and checkout...

I stayed at this hotel last week for 5 nights. The staff at the front desk are great. Check-in was quick and the staff took time to show me on map of different restaurants, shops, attractions, ect..... As for the hotel, it is clean, my room (7th floor) was nice and modern. I ate breakfast at the hotel twice. It...

Really enjoyed our stay here. We were going to a concert at the arena. It's within walking distance, as it is to the shops, opposite Harvey Nichols and round the corner from Selfridge's. Lots of other great shops, wish we had more time to spend in the area. The hotel itself was lovely. We had 2 double beds with desk,...

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night as we were seeing a concert at Manchester Arena. The hotel is ideally situated for this type of visit. The arena was a 5 minute walk away and there were lots of shops and places to eat locally too. There is parking for the hotel for £18 per day, which is a...

I decided on the Renaissance as a gift for my boyfriends birthday as we were going to a gig at the Manchester Academy and wanted somewhere central in regards to bars and shops. After reading reviews I decided this was the perfect hotel and I wasn't wrong, it was fabulous. Underground parking at a charge but at least we knew...

This city centre hotel is ideally located in Manchester. We arrived by car and were able to stop off at the front door to collect an access key to the lift from the car park. The hotel has its own carpark accessed a few metres from the front door. The rooms are larger than the average hotel room. The rooms...
