From the outside, the hotel looks very posh and expensive. However, once you walk through the door it's not the same. The hotel is very dated and could definitely use some re-decorating to make it more modern. When we checked-in we were told that we had been given a free upgrade. If this was an upgrade then I would dread... More

Stayed at this hotel prior to flying out from Manchester on 5/11/16 and left my car for the 15 days I was away . Having checked other hotel prices and car parking I found this establishment very reasonable . The room was comfortable but they must have a problem with the fire alarms it sounded 4 times during the night.Some... More

This hotel is just....well I can't even find the words! Yes cheap and cheerful isn't perfect but can be just as excellent sometimes as a 5*..this was not the case! Stayed here night before our flight and used the car park. Our room was ok, we accepted this for what we had paid, everything was fairly clean. Upon settling in... More

A cut above previous Britannia group hotels that we have visited, clean, well decorated and in good order. Very helpful and amiable staff, restaurant food excellent and service very well organised and professional staff. Buffet breakfasts always a favourite with me! As an older hotel naturally a little worn at the edges but well maintained. We had a lovely large... More

Will definately book again. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Had delicious pizzas from the restaurant. Used the swimming pool... More

I was almost put off by previous reviews. However, standard double was large, quiet, with a very powerful shower. Jacuzzi bath didn't work but not an issue. The room was clean and the mattress firm. Location fabulous for cracking bars and restaurants in West didsbury. The Woodstock pub very close. The tram stop about a 15 min walk. I booked... More
