My husband and I went to the Midland from Saturday - Monday as a birthday treat for me from my daughter. She booked a kingsize double room and stated it was for her mum's birthday. The square outside the hotel is having a makeover so there were no trams directly from Piccadily Station which for as a disabled traveller was...

I stayed at The Midland on the 12th July for one night with my partner. It was a special occasion for his birthday so I emailed the hotel and they were more than happy to help. I was able to organise balloons in the room, they also place chocolates and cake and a card wishing him a happy birthday. They...

It's a long time since I have been let in to a hotel room and genuinely felt really surprised by the size and quality of the room. We had a superior double on the top floor and its was really spacious with a generous bathroom. Had room only and lots of options to eat breakfast nearby on a Saturday morning....

A quick 1 night stay to see my sister in her play. Nothing much to say other than that it was clean, quiet and the room was nice however I'd like to stay again if I ever return and maybe sample the breakfast :)

I love this hotel, I really really do. It's a beautiful building in the heart of the city and I want to like the rooms but I'm struggling. We'd booked a superior king room - well if that was a king then never let me book a double because the king didn't have enough room to swing the proverbial cat....

We booked into the Midland Manchester because we thought as we were going on a shopping trip from Scotland to Manchester we would treat ourselves to what we thought would be a memorable stay at a top Manchester Hotel. We paid around £400 plus £50 for valet parking. I booked a DELUX DOUBLE ROOM again under the impression we would...

This is a wonderful and historic hotel in Manchester City Centre. Stayed in November 2014 as my friends had their wedding reception there. The room was fairly small but was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Loved the food at the wedding and had a great time. Had the breakfast buffet the next day which was very nice indeed. Probably one...

paid £260.00 for a 2 night stay, staff and room was lovely, but ordered breakfast in bed an charged an extra £5.00 per tray for dried up sausage, bacon etc.and as you pay £15.00 for the breakfast before the tray charge your better off going somewhere else for breakfast.but apart from that it's a beautiful hotel.
