Very convenient for Oxford Road train station and the University, but as it offers no food in the evening finding a decent restaurant nearby was a challenge. The hotel information book suggests sending for a takeaway and they will provide cutlery etc. The room was nice, but with inadequate lighting. A comfortable night until the air con unit stared making...

Thank you for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback following your recent stay. Guest feedback helps us to improve the offering and I have taken particular notice of your comments regarding the air conditioning and bedroom lighting. There are in fact a number of restaurants withing a short distance to the hotel, however, we will supply crockery...

Stayed here for a weekend with friends last weekend. I have to say this hotel was excellent. Great value for money - super modern rooms - very comfortable beds and a great location. Just a few minutes from Oxford Road train station with direct links to the Airport. A FREE bus service directly outside the hotel which will take you...

Thank you for giving us your feedback following your recent stay. I am pleased that you enjoyed your visit and were able to take advantage of the free bus. I have taken on board your comments regarding the 3 adults but we do only make a minimal surcharge to cover the extra breakfast and cleaning. Thank you again. Jonathan Smith...

Hotel room was really great and comfortable. Very clean and spacious. Loved it. However, the breakfast was bit disappointing. I would expect little bit ,more variety like bacon and egg choices etc as you get egg choices in a small hotel chain like premier inn.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback following your recent stay. I am pleased that you enjoyed your time in the hotel. Holiday Inn Express only offer 3 hot items for breakfast and this does not include additional egg options or bacon. Hopefully we will see you again in the future. For only two nights in Manchester we wanted somewhere close to the centre and rail station. We chose this one as it seemed to fit the bill and we have had good experiences with HI in both Edinburgh and Liverpool. For the price - including breakfast - we were actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room. On the...

10 floors can be a bit off putting but no problems with the lifts and the entrance hall leads to the lifts, with reception being downstairs, which avoids queues and clogging - great! Breakfast included which is a bonus but book early for the best rates. No parking at the hotel itself but plenty of car parks around, with one...

I stayed in this hotel for a long weekend. I flew to Manchester from Southampton. We caught the 200 bus from the airport to hotel and the journey took longer than the flight!!! When we returned we caught the train, a mere twenty minutes journey! This hotel is very close to Oxford Road Station. It is clean and very modern....

Stayed here for a night whilst visiting the nearby Palace Theatre. It is pleasant as are the staff, nice to see that the free breakfast is still available and the layout and serving position has been re-located to a better position. The foyer now has more tables and chairs which makes it less cramped for guests. Must agree somewhat with...

Stayed here for one night as we were visiting the area. Paid £90 for the room which was appalling. We booked the hotel based on a standard double room which looked like it did on the photographs. I don't think I've stayed anywhere this bad. Thankfully only here for one night. I did try to get a room elsewhere but couldn't really justify taking a junior suite on expenses especially as this had already been paid for by my employer. Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and that we let you down. The hotel is 100% non smoking and a previous guest has been selfish enough not to care and smoked in the room anyway. When this does happen we do endevour to remove the smell...

Not much to say other than it was spotless, nice bathroom, a very comfy nice sleep, decent breakfast included in the rate.
