One of the most pathetic place I have even spent a night on this earth. The place is a mess. I mean more than a mess. 1. Bathroom sucks 2. Smelling duets and pillow. yuck. 3. Broken beds 4. broken walls 5. room stinks 6. Kitchen was a mess 7. Stairs were broken i wish I could rate this place...

This was booked as part of stag weekend for me and my friends, and imagine our surprise to find that its not ‘quite’ the city centre. Try £35 of taxi fare from the city centre. Unperturbed by this, we travelled to a lovely place called Kearsley, on the outer ranges of Manchester to find out digs for the evening. Now...

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2017, and I would NOT recommend this place. The en-suite shower, sink & toilet were so dirty, my friend ended up cleaning it all herself. The en-suite shower door didn't close so we had to shower one floor below. The one cupboard in our room didn't have a door...

Stayed one night as a group of 8. Extremely welcoming and friendly owner and staff. Perfect room size and set up for the group. Easy enough links into the city centre, would definitely recommend and return.

I went for a job interview to Bolton. It was the best location for me. Will picked me up around midnight from Manchester bus station. I could sleep well in a comfortable bed, relax and shower, before my interview. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not be better.

I recently visited The Grapes whilst travelling to Manchester for an event. When booking, I don't think we quite took into account how far it was from Manchester City Centre, and considering the amount we spent on taxis should probably have splashed out on a venue closer to the city. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and made sure...

5 of us decided to stay at the Grapes for Parklife festival 2016, and whilst we were initially hesitant about the location, we turned out to be in a much better position than those staying in the city centre! The owner Will was very friendly and helpful, offering a shuttle service to and from the festival which meant that we...

We stayed here for a gig at the Etihad, without realising how far away it was from Manchester city centre, although this is probably an error on our behalf for not double checking! The taxi from the station was about £20, and on the way back from the gig we paid £40, so the money we saved with the cheap...

The only good thing about this place is the staff. They are lovely, and friendly and approachable. The room on the other hand, was gross. The shower room had no door, the sink was falling apart, the door only stayed shut if it was locked. The plug sockets were hanging out of the wall. There is a staircase coming up...

People friendly on arrival, then it went down hill. It's a hostel so I didn't expect it to be amazing. I did expect it to be a clean en suite room. I was shown to my room, the guy disappeared quickly. The filth was un real. The bathroom was communal and the door didn't shut properly or lock. No towels...
