George Best pub ...as was the old Phene Arms in Chelsea where I actually saw him. Bit of a quiet nite. £4 for nice pint of Lees bitter is a bit steep. Bar aroma of disinfectant But if you're on Deansgate do go as it's a survivor

Quite expensive for drinks, good reputation tho & if you wanna see where George Best drank & the memorabilia - this is his old local. Busy at night, great music n the. The best place for karaoke in Manchester

Amazing music, great atmosphere and good choice of drinks. Great after match scene! Range of clients from the young to old - but make sure you appreciate Manchester Utd, especially George Best! Music was disco to rock and all in between with much dancing.

We called in after the Meatloaf Show in the Opera house, fantastic atmosphere, so much so we stayed there all night. Loved all the photos of George Best, would most definatly call there again when in Manchester next

Called in to use loo to be honest after leaving Opera House close by. Stayed!!! Atmosphere was great as was the music! Good mix of ages and genders! Good old fashioned city centre pub with average prices do all drinks. Not what I was looking for to be honest but I was strangely seduced 😁

Fantastic place for a drink and a dance. Plenty of very helpful staff with friendly doormen. Just off deansgate. The place to be on a Saturday evening after the match. If your looking for a quite drink this is not for you

In lots of ways a simple traditional pub on the edge of Deansgate and, in my opinion, better for it. Especially as, in amongst their cask beers, they served a very nice Blonde beer. No atmosphere to comment on and easily missed if in Manchester.

In my youth there were pubs and wine bars, now there a bars called All Bar The Browns Slug in the Living Room and very few pubs, one of which is this place. If you like a quiet drink, lovely toilets, craft ales and presse's don't go here. If you like an awesome soundtrack, dancing as though no ones watching...

Called in for a quick pint The wife found the atmosphere quite intimidating (United were at home and was full of blokes) Beer was expensive and nothing special Alright for boys on a night out not for the ladies
