we travelled here over Easter this year, unfortunately one of our party spent most of the weekend in bed due to illness .. not caused by the hotel I must add , but it meant that most of the trip was spent in the hotel room , I have to thank the reception staff who kindly called take-aways on a... Visited manchester to scope out the area for a possible relocation and Luther King House served the purpose of being close to the area we were looking at and where we wanted to be. Its close to the curry mile which has a huge range of delicious restaurants and asian grocery stores. The staff were very friendly and they served... More

I wish I was exaggerating in the title how bad my stay was. At first things started off well, we we're allowed to check in earlier as we had plans for the day and needed to leave asap. They had no problem letting us put our bags in our room. Leaving £60 of my spending money for the weekend at... More

I booked one night at the Luther King Guest House through late rooms.com, just to get some extra study done at the university as I have a long commute. The reception staff on my arrival were friendly and gave me clear directions to my room. The room itself was very basic, but it served it's purpose and was clean and... More

I booked here on last minuets.com and got a great price, I was worried with the price that it would be poor quality but it was lovely, the room was small but tidy, it wasn't the most up to date hotel but everything was in good working order. the staff were friendly and told us details for our stay and... We stayed here on Bank holiday Monday 25th May, its clean and tidy, very basic but you paid for what you got really. Would go back there for a night but wouldn't stay for more than that though. Breakfast was lovely and really enjoyed it. It is on the main bus route which was handy for us.

After arriving at the lLuther King I met with the receptionist who informed me that due to it being a bank holiday that breakfast would be served until 10am. We went straight to out room which was, at first sight, a very clean but basic room. Upon further inspection there were stains on the ceiling and the bed clothes did... More

Rooms need a huge update. Bed creaked for England. Pillows were pancakes. Room seemed clean but unkept. The man on reception was sarcastic, apparently if parked in a private bit....There was no signs to inform me of this. On a plus not....the continental included breakfast was decent.
