We only stayed one night here but loved the loft style room. Chipping Campden is only quite small however this hotel is very conveniently located in the main street. If you enjoy a cold ale or glass of wine there is a lovely little bar at the front on the main street. Food was also good quality. Were building renovations...

The Lygon Arms is a lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms and the food is outstanding. Plenty of it and excellent quality. The breakfast was amazing. Staff lovely and extremely helpful. Would recommend and certainly would go again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was beautiful and we had a lovely view overlooking the main road in town. Just downstairs, there is a restaurant and bar. The food was delicious, and the portions were fairly large. We wished we had ordered one entree instead of 2 because there was so much food. The breakfast was...

popped in for afternoon tea. Tea is served in a lounge with a lot of people who just wandered through which was a bit disruptive. Staff very friendly and we ordered the set tea. The sandwiches were very small very few in number and not good quality. The scones and cakes were very good.

We loved our stay. The hotel itself is old and full of character, but our rooms were large with King-sized bed, flat-screen TV and a large wonderful bathtub that by 6' 2" husband was even able to fit it. The breakfast was wonderful. They had an entire menu to choose from including English breakfast, pancakes, lattes, cappuccinos, fruit, cereal, and...

We had booked to stay in Elm View Cottages nearby and I wanted to book somewhere for us to meet our friends for lunch beforehand. I rang up the hotel and told them it was a surprise for my husband for his birthday and also that we had three babies! They accommodated us brilliantly, we had a lovely table away...

Can't comment on the hotel as we only visited for dinner on a Sunday night during the World Cup final. This was one of the only places that served food late (until 10:30 pm) on a Sunday. The staff are welcoming and only to happy to help (recommended loads of stuff for us to do in the local area). The...

Touring the Cotswolds, stopped in the lovely Chipping Campden around lunchtime. Up and down we walked with everywhere seemingly full or unappealing. The pub side of the Lygon Arms was packed but we decided to stay anyway. The barkeep was cheery and welcoming. We ordered up large bowls of mushroom soup at the bar, a pint and a glass of...

A great start to our Cotswolds Way holiday. We had a lovely courtyard room which was great for the dogs. Walk in shower en-suite, king size bed, very comfortable. The pub food and beer was excellent, recommend the Fish and Chips and the breakfast was one of the best of our trip. They also allowed us to leave our car...

My wife and I stayed here in one of the delux rooms in the courtyard for our wedding anniversary. The room was nice, clean and well maintained, but nothing special. The staff were polite and friendly, but it was a basic service and it did feel like we were staying at a pub rather than a hotel. Despite them knowing...
